One of my riding buddies brings a 18 pack of BudLight with him in a massive backpack...ya he's a popular guy after an hour or so!

Big SX/MX jumps are no place to be fucking around. I'd be going the redbull/monster route.

I got a taste of some Indica while in Denver a few months ago, easy to spot since they have it labeled correctly in the dispensary. Nice stuff, very mellow and happy. Shame is when you buy off the street you have no idea what the hell you are getting or what chemicals some goon may have used. All that can make a bud that is unpleasant to some..

That's what I've read too. That's why I'm actually kind of excited for it to be legal, so I can go get something properly labeled. That shit I smoked that musta been super high Sativa really fucked me up for a while, was having panic attacks for a solid year after I quit smoking.

Yeah I've had some similar experiences. Many times I've found that my frame of mind can also dictate if I get anxious or not. Anxious mood gives and anxious high. Much like drinking, an angry dude becomes an angry drunk. We had a layover in CO on our way to Wyoming, Jackson Hole. My GF surprised me with a hotel room in DT Denver and a Jeep Wrangler rental for the day. We spend the whole day driving around the mountains and exploring. The dispensary was very nice, not at all shady or awkward. Everyone there is super friendly (shocker) and honest about everything. Can't wait to go back and do some "Hiking" haha.

Best part about a dispensary has to be the edibles. Very mellow and doesn't tear up your lungs.

I'm all about that, I'm very glad Oregon made it legal. Like you said, buying something that should be relatively harmless from some tweaker weirdo is a recipe for disaster.

I'll agree with you there. I'll never forget the first time I tried that crap. For a short while I was sure I couldn't breathe. But the 4 hour nap afterwards was amazing. It's just like anything else. Tolerance will dictate the reaction for anything you're using.

No, it's in Milliken, called Two Rivers. It's one of the funnest tracks around. It's like 15 minutes from Fort Collins.

That tabletop is a booter too, all 25' of it. I can't blame her, the guys is kind of a bad ass.

Haha that's funny, the first time I had a major freakout it was a combination of a) I'm pretty sure I'm not breathing (I was) b) I'm pretty sure I'm having a heart attack (don't think I was) c) I'm pretty sure I'm gonna stay high/retarded forever now. and d) how long has it been? A minute? Hours? What is time? I just circled my buddy's living room for a bit until I threw in the towel and thought I was just gonna peacefully die.

one of the worst experiences I had was when I was on a surf trip in Sri Lanka and we were on our way from one side to the other and we stopped at this weird little place, the locals we were with were just chain smoking these massive trumpet like joints and they offered me a toke, I thought they've had about 5 so how strong could they be, so I had two quick tokes and was completely fine

for about 10 secs then the top of my head opened up and all the invisible cold caterpillars crawled out all over my face and shoulders, then yeah sure why not, let's get back driving (not me obviously) on those roads with hardly any rules and buses and trucks coming at us, and driving past elephants and monkeys and shit.. plus when my eyes were open I couldn't really hear anything but if I shut my eyes I could hear EVERYTHING haha good times

I know I can ask this from my good weed smoking buddies but lets say I had " Another friend " that sometimes gets these stupid anxiety attacks for no apparent reason......what kind of weed would you guys recommend? Something mellow that would'nt tweak him out and could still focus.....but at the same time , chill him out so he could concentrate?

Justin....I read one of your other replies about freaking out and stuff. The last time I smoked weed ( actually the last 4 - 5 times I smoked it )....I stopped because it made me go into a slight rage. Like I wanted to go look for a fight and then slam my head into a wall. It seriously pissed me off.....which was really weird....because all the times before in the past , it turned me to jello and I wouldn't of hurt a fly. The times I got pissed actually seemed like they all happened from the same bag of weed. ( Over a 2 week period )

I never thought about it.....but maybe I had some kind of " Angry weed " or something? Holy shit I never thought about that.

Exactly my point as well. KW is one of my favorite all time racers. He is a LEGEND!!!

However there are some stories out there. I don't think differently of him for it.

To the guys getting paranoia, try smoking less? haha Jeffro I'm not sure about that, just do something you usually enjoy and try not to get angry. Also, indica dominant strains mellow you out the most.. they both do in my opinion. Sativa does help with concentrating but, its very easy to over do and lose complete focus lol

all i can say is i went through a phase a few years ago where i smoked in the morning before work and when i got home.

a couple of my batches would string me out like a fucking animal, i had so much energy, focus, and was 100% able to function. another batch put me into a comatose state, unable to lift my fucking arms to do anything besides turn the channel on the tv. another one made me paranoid as fuck, i'd sit on my back patio and i knew my pos neighbors called the cops on me and the way the wind was blowing my hair bothered me to the point of wearing a beanie 24/7.

i don't smoke any more, but like some others have said i'd rather ride with a dude that just took a rip than slugged a 6 pack.
