What people and the oems don't seem to understand is this isn't the eighties it's not the 90s hell it's not even the early 2000s we do not for any reason need an entirely new bike every 4 years you want to give us the new model every six years have a 6-year development cycle and on the 6th year give us a new bike great. Six years Max the price of these bikes goes down probably 1500 to 2 Grand over the lifetime of the model and makes the sport a whole lot more affordable

The other manufacturers should be looking at whatever the Suzuki has, that they’re moving away from.. When the current Suzuki was new, it wasn’t a dominant bike. But it’s doing just as good today as it was nearly a decade ago. Maybe the latest design advances really aren’t?

I’m pretty sure the yellow bike had the fastest lap time of the night, but can’t say for sure because live timing was jacked up. Regardless, not bad for an old outdated obsolete bike.

Suzuki proves that bike development / getting everything figured out completely is way more important than having the latest and greatest design features. How many times do we see a new design introduced and watch the team struggle for the first half of the season? I’m not surprised.

Whenever he does have a bad race, his comments are usually measured, thoughtful, and honest. Maybe it was very mature of him to not comment last night in the heat of the moment.

I don’t care who it is, a 3 point penalty for post race testing is excessive. The bike obviously passed pre-race, and anything can happen during the race; lose packing, pipe damage etc. it’s not likely to be deliberate?

Bike failed sound because he was revving the ever living fuck out of it like he won a title after the race. 😂 Also, sound testing after a race is fucking retarded.

Yes I miss hillbilly as well. He is a great guy and had some great stories. So glad I finally got to meet him when I went to loretta's in 04. He gave me some pointers we had a good time at my camp and also the chicken fest. Wonder where those pictures are. I hope he's okay.
