If you had actually watched the video like you said, you would have known that in a week or 2 (in the 3rd of 3 reveal videos) they will be unveiling the full bike with a riding video with Ricky too. The fact that threads like this exist shows it’s built lots of hype whether you like it or not. Having 3 reveal videos showing their big projects: the frame, the motor, then full reveal with riding I think is pretty cool. And once it’s revealed, they (or anyone for that matter) won’t give a shit about all the moaning...

I think it is just timing, also probably depends on where you live. When the world is already depressed, and you have people cramming electric down your throat, any mention of electric is going to drive anybody mad. In many places (mainly coastal states), they are trying to take away your choice to drive/ride/mow/whatever and tell you what you can and cannot use.
