I have red stickers for my 2024 YZ450FX and wife's 2023 KTM 250XC. People are definitely still getting stickers. Might be dealer dependent, but it's definitely still happening.

I’ve gotten red stickers mailed to me on 4 new dirt bikes: 2022 GasGas MC125, 2023 Husky FC350, 2023 Beta, 2024 Kawasaki KX450. I’ve also gone through the process of presenting the MSO along with the bill of sale to dmv on a bike bought out of state and gotten a sticker. You do you but this is why I...

Theres a bold sentence in the bulletin that says DMV continues to issue red stickers for 2022 models and newer. Seems there is confusion here for sure. I didn't expect this, but I did get a red sticker with my 2023 YZ 250... Guess I'll see what happens. Edit: Also the 2nd page of the bulletin: GUIDANCE FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS Although CARB amended its regulations in 2019, phasing out the Red Sticker program for model year 2021 and older, the DMV continues to issue Red Sticker registration for 2022 and later model year competition motorcycles pursuant to CVC §38010...

Good news ! The bean counters must've figured out that we're going to ride them off road anyway might as well not lose that registration $

The picture isn’t the best. The slightly dark area is just a shadow. The muffler has never been opened. Completely stock. Everything is perfect, no dings. Full pipe $450 or just the slip on $360 includes shipping in the continental US. If interested, my email is njchez@hotmail.com. Venmo is fine.

I have a stock 2024 KX450 slip on as well as full pipe that has only been heat cycled when my bike was brand new. Less than 1 hour on it. It’s perfect condition (replaced with a full Pro Circuit pipe). Let me see if I can post another pic.

I rode my bike last night for the first time after installing a stiffer fork spring in the right fork. It really helped a lot! Kawasaki sells fork springs individually, so it saved me quite a few bucks to do it this way and it gave me just a bit more holdup to increase stability without feeling harsh or hurting cornering performance. I figured if I felt like I needed more, I could always buy a second spring for the right fork. I’m happy now and think one stiffer spring hit the spot. Compared to my 2019, the front tire...

I never even started mine before putting the PC pipe on it. I couldn’t figure out why all the reviews said the bike was slow. Now it makes sense. With the PC pipe on the bike, it is probably the fastest bike I’ve ever had.

Thanks, I've sent him an email so hopefully he sends me his new map. In saying that I have tried a few different maps and a few of my own and I'm actually very happy with the stock mapping with opened up airbox/exhaust and 51 tooth rear.

The last few posts about Keefer’s fuel and ignition settings is the old 24 kx450 one. He since went a complete different direction with the fuel and ignition settings. He said in stock form the bike is rich. In his podcast he mentions you can email him for the new settings with the stock ECU. It’s a very different mapping...

I completely agree. With my T-6, my bike is giving me all I need and sounds like a beast! I’m good with stock gearing.

It's funny how alot of the reviews say how down on power this bike is and how powerful the yz450 is. With these small mods my kx now pulls 3rd better than my 23 yz450f did. I had to go to 13/52 gearing and aggressive mapping on yz to get it to be a 3rd gear bike.

I tried to get this answer several pages ago, but I couldn’t, so I just bit the bullet. I went with the T-6 to save a few bucks and because it was available immediately. I’m very happy with the performance, but I never even rode the bike without it.
