1/25/2024 5:10am https://www.amazon.ca/Motocross-Saved-My-Life-Darkness/dp/1525553550 True story and great read by a fellow racer here in Canada. I'm not a reader much, but couldn't put this down. Good luck on your recovery!

1/4/2024 4:04am Russ Jarman, former British championship and occasional GP rider told a funny story in a recent interview. He had a clothing deal back in the day (90s?) from a funky Euro manufacturer (I can’t remember which one. Wind? Or Wulf maybe?) They brought out some ugly gear with wild animals or something printed on it, which they called ‘Wild and Free’. Russ said he was winter practising in the U.S. and Mike Healey(?) was there. Mike asked him WTF the gear was that Russ was wearing. Russ said, “This is the hot new gear in Europe. It’s all the rage...

12/9/2023 3:49am Not attending Red Bud Vet Fest. Seems every year something "comes up". I'm 54 now and looking back there have been multiple times i could have, and should have, gone, but didn't. Still on the bucket list but I regret not having gone yet.

12/9/2023 3:42am Yep I suppose I learned some hard lessons! I've had some great opportunities racing in the last few years. Not planning on slowing down anytime soon.

12/9/2023 3:42am Not putting in the effort when I was racing in 07-12. I'd come off the track pissed that I wasn't running with the top 3, but it was because I didn't train and put in the work I should have. My pops tried telling me but I was 16-21 so I thought I knew it all. Girls also played a roll in my "priorities" and the ones I was messing around with at the time were no good. I regret not trying 100%, especially because I feel my speed could have and should have been so much better than it...

Mjones618 Liked a reply to forum topic Rutted Corners - HELP - I SUCK.....
10/3/2023 3:24am Nobody here can tell you how to hit a rutted corner. Watch some YouTube videos on it and go practice. The only way you will get better is by riding ruts. From now on every single time you hit a corner pick the deepest rut there. Every time. Force yourself to hit them and not be intimidated by them and before you know it you'll have them down. Not many can hit ruts perfect 10/10 times so don't beat yourself up if you climb out of a rut here and there. We all make mistakes. But like I said. Get...

9/29/2023 3:13am For what it's worth, here is my 5x10. I have had the 24' race trailers, but since we quit racing a few years ago I just wanted something small that didn't take up a lot of space. It is mainly used at out of town rides for a secure place to keep the bikes while in the hotel. I built the cabinet in the front and wired it for 120vac. I have 1 - 4' light at the front and a duplex at the back for fans etc. I also included heavy enough wiring to run my portable AC on...

6/6/2023 2:45am A kid I’m currently coaching at the track has the same issue, has major anxiety and tends to freak out when he lines up for a race or just suiting up to go practice…like Kyle said above, all of us have our own insecurities and I tell him all the time I’m still scared if certain obstacles on mains just like he is with people and it calms him down and gives him some peace of mind. Most of the time riding with people and making friends at the track and races really helps and I personally find it much...

6/6/2023 2:44am What you've got to remember is most of the people at the track (and life in general) are insecure in their own ways. And those that look down on others for being less skilled or experienced are usually the most insecure people there are. This is your way to unplug and escape, fuck anyone else. Go enjoy yourself, man!

4/13/2023 2:58am She will be a World Champion. I saw her ride at the Junior WC in 2018 at age 11. She was coming out of a muddy, rutted turn on her 65 and clearing a 70 foot or so uphill triple that most men on a 450 would struggle with.
