I think that was too awesome for not to be shared. There was a couple threads about Lotte van Drunen in the past already when she was riding and winning against the boys on a 85/125. This year at the age of 15 she is already riding WMX and is now holding the red plate after the second race. Pretty cool story if you ask me.
She will be a World Champion. I saw her ride at the Junior WC in 2018 at age 11. She was coming out of a muddy, rutted turn on her 65 and clearing a 70 foot or so uphill triple that most men on a 450 would struggle with.
She's been very impressive so far! Does anyone know the full details on her split from F&H? Or is it simply that she preferred doing things her own way with her own support team/family?
She's such a beast! Amazing riding style as well. I'd love to see her win the championship. Youngest world champ by a mile if she does
15 YO girl ripping a 250F. Here the boys get to riding mini-cycles until their nuts drag on the ground.

She is an amazing Rider, dont expected that performance that soon.
Daniela Guillén is 16 yo too...new Girls generations are about to turn around wmx.
First woman to ride in the MXGP/outdoor class pro class? been waiting to see it.
It's already been done. I believe Balbi was the first to score points?
Wow. alright, I'm out of the loop. Ill take a look. Very cool.
Someone with more GP knowledge could help but I believe there's been a few women who have raced in the MXGP or MX2 classes over the years.
Going off van Duren's fastest lap, where would she qualify in the MX2 class?
Very impressive...that track looks awesome too!
Kiara fontanesi, larissa papenmeier, lancelot and i think Laier too but i dont remenber at all.
Larissa scored points 100% sure but the others i dont remenber, yo mucho races in my head
I still follow him. Hes on KTM after his dealer dropping him after the incident. He also doesn’t train with Matt Walker anymore.
wrong thread
Those euro chicks are fast! I remember following Stefy Bau around at Glen Helen one year... that did not turn out as well as I'd have hoped.
how tf did it get to this thread lmao. Mb
Its very hard to compare laptimes from different sessions.
Based on Nancy vd Ven failing to qualify for the dutch masters in the 250 class in the past i would say as per today Lotte has nothing for the mx2 class.
The question with Lotte is how far she can progress. She went from not qualyfing in emx125 to top 10 finish in a few months time.
No clue about the split, but I see that F&H riders are in Leatt gear with 100% goggles and Arai helmets while Lotte is pretty much in FOX gear from head to toe and also sponsored by monster energy on top of that. Maybe just a sponsoring thing.
Pit Row
That girl fucking rips. She’s going to be pissing off a lot of moto dads for years to come….love it
I've seen Courtney Duncan win new Zealand nationals 250 races against the boys beating the likes of Dylan Walsh and Josiah natzke.
Charli Cannon is like that here in Australia she beats half the MX2 field
Awesome video, damn that must be a cool feeling to win something like that.
They had different idea's about the training program. Nothing to do with sponsorship as far as i know.
so far it works out for her
Cool to see because her drive to win is insane
Mariana Balbi was the last to do it at least in MXGP. GP of Brazil in '09 and '10, she went 24-20 and 20-20 to score points in both years. This was a really bad time for getting talent outside the Euro rounds though. For the 2010 round there were only 24 entries and in the end only 21 finished each moto, she was 3 laps down. The guy in 21st was 5 laps down.
Courtney has won nz mens national races.
Charli gets about 7th in the sunny coast series.
Yea Charli's results are impressive but I don't think that's on the same level.
