It would make sense to me that tracks want a cut of the trainers' fees, too. After all, those guys are using the track facilities for a pittance (gate fee only) otherwise. The drawback is that I feel like they will have to apply this rule to people like myself who want to train my son, who is good but not fast. Doing one section over and over again is a great way to work on his weak spots and I want to stand there and watch. That likely isn't going to happen at Elsinore anymore.

The audacity one must need to have to think that type of behavior is okay. It's like "Hey, let me show up on someone else's jobsite and then charge people to be a nuisance/danger to other people that are there." If you're going to be a 'trainer' do it from the sidelines or get your own track.

Ignoring what a huge liability it must be for the track operators to have these clowns doing this (Not limited at all to SoCal btw); the etiquette that some of these dickhead trainers have basically 'owning' a small section of the track has driven me up the wall. God forbid you get near little Johnny and his factory KTM 65 in the back section while I try to spin laps so he can get 37th at his local LL qualifier.

Good for them. Hopefully they will enforce it on regular practice days.

GNCC opening round at Big Buck last weekend too... 15 entries - XC1 9 entries - XC2 NO XC3 class this year... Not a good look either.

Maybe they should stop making the riders pay $250 to enter each race. That is $4,250 for a 450 class rider to do all 17 races. Instead of charging the riders to race, how about paying them? Pay every rider except maybe the top 10 in points $500 to sign up and try to qualify? At least they will know a small portion of their expenses will be paid. Of course, this is only open to qualified pros. And, the last chance qualifier needs to pay a lot more.

Why are pros paying for entries? It should be $1 for insurance purposes and with that you get a mechanic pass and 1 family member pass.

If the trend continues maybe they will make it financially rewarding instead of a money pit for privateers. But probably not.

Nothing is worse than getting to keep more of the money you earned… Of course some folks want Trump’s government to have even more money to spend…(whoever downvotes this thread)..

Hopefully they can work that out but I have to say its really refreshing to see them not hitting a jump at mach 2, floating in the air for 1000 yards, and landing on a berm and railing a corner. I've seen enough of that garbage for a lifetime.
