Because at 18 they left, did it themselves, snd somehow didn’t implode against guys who were doing everything in their own backyard with support systems and family. How much did you see Rv’s Dad, Big James And Sonya, Jeannie and Big Rick, Mr Wey, Frank Thomas etc at the races? Hell even Langston and Dv’s olds were around. You think Chad and Ellie wouldn’t have liked a sounding block. It is the Australian thing to do. The last season should last at least 2-3 years. A singer's last concert tour should be done across ten years with the final tour held on multiple occasions. Every heard an Aussie say just one more beer! If they leave within 5 more beers, they are not really an Aussie. CR22 should do at least one more one last ride.

I just don't see anyone hanging with Eli. Kenny might have the speed, but definitely not the consistent fitness. Cooper might have the fitness, but almost definitely not the consistent speed. Marv likely doesn't have either and the rest aren't on that level. They wanna hope Eli starts slow after the stress of a new baby and the SX title, but given the 3–4 weeks wait, I doubt it.

I'm not sure, but it's going to be a sad day when Reed is no longer on the gate. People don't have to like him, but they have to respect that he did his own way. He'll be missed.

Take away the rider's identity. The braintrust is suggesting a guy that podium'd last year stop embarrassing himself and retire already. Reed knows exactly where he is at and what he is capable of. I like that he has the passion to keep racing this year. Who wouldn't have liked to seen Stew or RC make special appearances or race until the new generation of riders takes their crown? Anyone that is a fan of the sport should appreciate him giving it all as long as he is willing.
