Great to see him make the cut , i know you guys struggled at Hawkstone, but was nice to meet you there, i am the Comms guy for the livestream , and i will see if i can get the LQC uploaded for you to see somewhere, be nice to have that . I did it the other way , AMA Supermoto back in 2003 and made the main by 1 after someone bailed on the last lap. Nothing beat travelling and racing just for the fun of it.

It is the same Smith Family! Dad is a retired firefighter now and Son is a fast pro just like Dad was back in the glory days of Motorcycle Raceway or as everyone in the midwest knew it back then… “59th & Douglas” 😎 👍❗️

I see a Whispern Smith in 7th place, 450B. In the early 80's there was a kid named "Whisperin Smith" who raced mini's in the Tx./Ok./La. area. He was a champion if memory serves correctly. (I'm not sure of the spelling.)

It’s NOT senior Whispern Smith… he is a retired firefighter these days. This is an old article regarding his SON Whispern Smith from when he was on 85’s that got posted on Saturday by another of us Okla guys… Whispern JUNIOR is following in his Dad’s footsteps and has progressed into a fast pro pursing his moto dream! 😎 👍❗️
