Yes if his race fitness is up to par still. Kind of hard to jump into the series right away and not have to take a few rounds to get your legs under you. Especially with a new bike and team atmosphere. He looks insanely comfortable already on that Yamaha though.

6/26/2024 3:20pm That's true; "never" is a rare word in motocross. However, some devices pose a lot more risk than others, and that can be controlled. For example, a mod motor could be a lot faster than it is, but the risks of it blowing up after 15 minutes are a lot higher.

I think the real root cause we don’t see more of them is the same reason several companies changed from a plunger design that’s worked for decades… Tamer holds the patents. I thought the rear wasn’t super critical, but tried with and without after a friend of mine was swearing by it and I’m sold. Like Donk alluded to, the more “perfect” the gate is, the better it works. So if you go to a race that’s got grates it’s a huge help.

Went to a race last weekend and was happy to draw motos 2 & 7 out of 24 some classes. Got me to thinking: what if we just published the moto schedule BEFORE sign up? Everyone with half a brain will sign up for the early motos so they can go home at a decent time, and then just cancel whatever races nobody signs up for. Downvote away, Im gonna die on this hill.
