Not just RD seems that most yanks are the same. Don't appreciate there is a world outside the USA. USA haven't won a world championship in MX for god knows how long, and you don't even care. Pretty sad isn't it.

Your driving comparison is not correct. Think about the amount of time you spend behind the wheel. Then think about the amount of time riders spend on a SX track. The ratio of time to injuries would be much much higher doing SX. Yes the riders just get on with it, Kenny was full on confidence. I think the main...

Bring in ALOT more sand. Jumps can be smaller but way more technical. If you get it wrong less likely to be sat out for the rest of the season. Could still have some big air time for the monster truck fans, just build the jumps with a bit more safety in mind, then make the really technical stuff smaller...

Most guys that post on here are race fans. We like to see a proper battle, block passes, race craft. I doubt so much much we get a thrill out of watching the constant hopping over steep jumps, which dont usually create big speed differences. The way i see it a track could be made in a stadium that provided...

So you think the stats would suggest there both the same injury wise ? It's one thing when two riders are bashing bars for 30 mins & one makes a mistake a gets injured. What bugs me about SX, there just hopping thru jumps sections all on their own when one slight imperfection with the state of the jump &...

Sx is a great show, in turns of the layout, fans, air time etc. But when you consider the very high risk involved is it really worth the potential injuries ? Im not saying it shouldn't happen, but for the most talented elite riders I would prefer to watch them battle a real motocross track, over a long season. After...

Your making big assumptions. If the top guys wanted it to happen the money would be there. You have a big bike sales market in the states, I can see why the factories what superstars there, representing there brands. But if you have top US guys leading a proper world series, the US GP could be the best supported event...
The factories could make it happen. Think how much better 2 US GP would be if ET, RD & JA were contesting the series. Imagine the support at say Red Bud for example. The US nats will be better if they left. Would open the door for fresh front runners. The racing were still be very strong. The US nats...
I dont think all riders around the world would agree SX is the number one priority. It may make the most money, but it's not MX. It's just a show that can more easily be marketed to the masses. IMO it's pretty sad when money is more important then first class racing. There was hardly a pass in the main.
It's shouldn't be a debate. Top national riders should be competing internationally. The other nations have come along way, it's time America showed some bottle & got involved. Schedules could be arranged so they could still ride SX. Doesn't it bug you that your top guys stay local repeating the same old process.
Is should be though. Because the best of each country should be racing each other. Maybe if the top US riders did decide to man up & race the GP's it would obtain that level of prestigious. How can any serious race fan tell me they would rather see 5 top guys battle with each other wk in wk end...
Too blind to ignore ? Im not delusional, did you not watch the US 450 class last year ? KR, MM, ET were the only world class riders. At times KR made the rest look like amateurs. (Millville) Why are you lot so obsessed with your top guys racing a couple of fast guys mixed with a field of privateers...
To use the superior skills the riders need to ride the various tracks. There was nothing at Charlotte to enable that. Surely you can see charlotte track was very basic for a pro rider. As for talent, pro motocross at the highest level should be about quality, not quantity. Do you really get a kick out of watching such a...
