2015 Eli has turned into this mythical Superman version of a motocross rider. He was otherworldly, agreed. For 5 motos. Didn't Carmichael beat the whole world after getting a mediocre start at the Motocross of Nations, while riding an outdated 2 stroke against factory 4 strokes? Didn't Carmicheal lap the entire field once? Didn't Carmichael have not 1 but 2 perfect seasons? For the 4T era, I think 04 RC, 08 Stew, 13 RV, 15 Tomac, 16 Kenny, 18 Herlings, and Jett would be the best race.

I know racing and qualifying are completely different but Tomac was 6 seconds off the pace at Fox. I think he can compete in SX but I just don't see it happening in MX anymore outside of a race here and there. The Hunta brothers are just on another level than anyone other than the rare occasion Sexton is on his game. Back on topic though. 2015 (and 2022) Tomac would give any rider in the sports history all they could handle.

if DMG had run it themselves, it could have ended up as bad as AMA road racing or AMA flat track where Pro motocross, amatuer motocross and GNCC are thriving under the Coombs family , which group do you want in leading it? its a business, and they make money, but i dont see any other promotor doing it better than the Coombs family does,
