MattE303 Started a new thread RDL no audio?
5/11/2024 11:59am I'm not getting audio watching Race Day Live on Peacock. Works fine on my phone but not on the Google TV Chromecast. It's not my hardware, other apps are fine, and non sports programing on Peacock seems fine. Any one else seeing this?

Yeah, I've got a buddy in Indiana that would move down here in a heart beat if not for his job. I ride Oak Hill, River Valley, Village Creek and His 956 all the time, those are my local tracks. Haven't made it down to 3 Palms or up to OMC yet, but I've heard really good things about both, hope to try 'em out soon. Tyler is a good area, we've been down there for races a few times (Swan, Buffalo Creek etc.)

Yup! Been here a little over a year, very glad we made the move. We ended up in Wise County for the low taxes. We like the area and there's good tracks. If we were doing it over again I think I'd want to look a bit more on the east end of north Texas, there's even more tracks over on that side, but we're still learning the area.

Lol. The app has zero affect on whether or not the sport is on TV. All it is, is another Avenue to broadcast and another revenue stream. Nobody is being forced to get or keep the app.

The number of people purchasing the app subscription is miniscule compared to the tv viewership numbers, even for the cable/satellite only broadcasts (MavTV and NBCSN). If the TV numbers justified full coverage of all 4 motos, it would happen, unfortunately the numbers just aren't there compared to stick and ball stuff, whether or not the gold...

8/19/2019 7:46am it's been garbage for me too the last couple weeks. I always watch 'replays' via Chromecast or Amazon Firestick app and our connection speed is 20-50Mbps so that's definitely not the issue. If this continues, it's definitely not worth $50, what a shame! I just sent an email to their support about this, you guys that are seeing the issue...

5/23/2017 2:41pm yup, that's DirecTV, not MAV. Before the contract dispute a couple years ago, we had MavTV on DISH (in HD) and it looked great! DirecTV just doesn't think MAV warrants an HD channel on their satellite. I agree with the OP, digital SD signals on the satellite providers is *unwatchable*, especially for any kind of high motion sports stuff like...

5/23/2017 2:19pm It was fine until the national this year, local guys jump it all the time. They just really screwed up the prep this year, the corner before it was badly overwatered and the face was wrong (per ET). As others have mentioned, they tried to fix it, but too little, too late.

NOT the same one they use for the regular NBC Sports streams). My internet is slow, but I can watch Netflix all day long with great quality thanks to their highly optimized content delivery capabilities, but the brain dead...

5/17/2017 4:11pm yup, really sucks that DISH is so greedy and wouldn't come to terms with MAV when the contract needed to be renewed a few years ago. Call and harass them about it, better yet, call them out on Twitter about it. I did that the last couple years. The Twitter thing seems to really piss them off for some reason...

6/6/2016 3:49pm So are you saying that the spoilage came from the 20 second highlight clip playing automatically when you opened the page? If that's the problem, there are ways to disable "autoplay on page load" functionality in most browsers. I have it turned off in Chrome and no videos on promotocross.com play unless I explicitly start them.
