Very disappointed only 19 passed the finish line in a European MXGP.

I know the is only Rd.1 but I miss the fast laps for gate position already. These qualifiers are almost always just get into a good spot and hold races. At least with fast lap stuff you saw guys on the edge and if the camera crews followed the right guys it was good stuff.

Matterley is genuinely one of the best tracks in the world and one nearly all the riders enjoy. The fact that it comes down to us having to have a race in February or not at all is an F’ing joke. The OEM’s didn’t work hard enough the past 20 years to reduce the noise of the bikes. I don’t care about it but non-moto people do. There should be a minimum wage for riders in both Gp’s and AMA. It’s insane that some of those guys take huge risks and don’t even get paid, or barely get paid The Amateur system at the AMA is outdated with the pure focus of LL and Mini O’s. TLDR - sorry if covered already: There is no media in the sport. It's all for click revenue companies that have to balance what they report vs. access being restricted. Without a standardized access model that moves it away from the bro-show... we'll never have objective media.

The sport was better for riders, racers and viewers when on 2-strokes.

Our sport will never be mainstream and that’s okay by me.

I find the media at large in this sport have such an over-inflated sense of self-worth that it actively kills my interest in times due to the lack of basic information that is readily unavailable compared to major sports.
