I've raced Mammoth 3 times, it is one of the safest tracks I've ever been to. It's a big outdoor track with no crazy jumps at all. The only worries I remember are hitting a big kicker after mid day or getting a rock to the face in one of those sections (iykyk) Its also probably the best staffed track I've ever seen. Lots of flaggers, EMT's on site, everyone has a radio... I hate seeing it get blamed for lack of safety, it's just not true. I feel horrible for the family and I don't know the full facts...

12/2/2025 5:37pm I sold my last bike this year at age 67. Last rode motocross at 66. I told myself that I was in good enough shape to ride but not in good enough shape to crash. I never got back into pre-COVID shape. Funny, because I’ve spent the last couple months getting into double-black diamond ski shape.

I love both, but the outdoors is superior to supercross for me, especially with how terrible the supercross tracks were this year. This is pure moto.

12/13/2023 2:53am I had the 2002 and it was my favorite bike that I’ve owned. Yes it hade the electric power valve but it was a bike I was able to ride with confidence. One of my buddies had the 1997 and it was a handful. On a side comment, the best jumping bike I ever owned was my 2001 KTM 400SX...

Wow. 4 down votes already. When I raced, I also knew that if I crashed in front of the pack I would most likely get run over/run into. I was not going to be upset at the riders who hit me. It was MY FAULT for crashing at the front of the pack right after the start. That was part of what makes racing dirt bikes so exciting. I'm getting excited just thinking about it. BOOM BOOM BOOM goes the heart rate. pussies.

So he beat Savatgy, Friese, and Brayton in WSX. And he won against Eli in Paris. Do you believe Eli was going all out at either of the races he did in the off season. I doubt it. He was there to get money and win if possible without getting hurt. It wasn’t Eli going for a SX title effort. Why do people always think they know better than the rider who is trying the bikes? Ken’s results would not be any better on either of the Hondas. Ken was podiuming at best no matter what he ride this year...

9/21/2022 5:03am I also have a 2019 RMZ250. I weigh 195. The two most impactful changes I made were to fix the suspension and to replace the bars. For my weight, the rear suspension was fine. For the front suspension, I first went to lighter springs but the forks still performed like shit. I then did a revalue with Racetech Gold Valves...

Agreed. To me Ricky is better with Blair because of Blairs ability to set up a legit interesting question/take. Leigh, while pretty dang good and I do happen to enjoy the international quality, just doesn't have the same insight that Blair does. Daniel has been great (especially for his level of experience) at still being a play by play guy but with some Color commentator like perks in which Ricky plays nicely off of.
