Started racing at Budds Creek in 1976 and raced there till mid 1980's...... retired several times but always come back wanting more. Manufacture of MX, Supermoto and street products. Www.MotoHose.com product line was added in the Fall of 2008 and now Moto Hose is sold so I am retired!

RC did not say he was not sold on the idea. After reading this i just went back and watched it again. RC said "I never really liked it that much and he was not sold on the testing of it but it could be a very good thing.... I guess but ahhh.... it fell off"

I did not see the on track antics but (from the industry seating behind the starting gate) watched the helmet tug and words being exchanged. Did not seem to be bad enough for a DQ from my seat. I noticed a lot of the riders in a timed practice who just kept cruzed around the track instead of pulling off...

the "flat" turns made for more lines and a 1000 times more block passing than normal. I liked them. TV made it look easy but the section before the finish was sick!

Been to several schools and they are worth much more than what you pay for them...... Reminds me I really need a refresher course......... I remember Gary & David racing at Big Berm on the Bulls in either 1976 or 77

Sad to say the dirt shop closed last year....college park found a paperwork loop hole that made them close down.....huge apartment complex being built right behind the shop. Rock has been working in parts at Dutrows Honda in Frederick for several years.

TV did not do the off camber turn justice. They cut down the outside some after I shot this. In this shot they had the fast line blocked to get them to run down the hill.......Where the guy is standing was at least a 1/2 sec faster.

As a mechanic I told my riders not to pull over but to use it to his advantage if the rider he was racing with hesitated.......the person lapping him was fast enough he will get around you. Flame on!

After attending Indy I now understand why riders ignore the yellow flag. When someone is re-aranging the tough blocks they throw the yellow flags in the section .....and there is no riders down.

There is a lot of gray area to the rules. A rider can hold his line and that is what most riders do. b. Warning Flags 1.
