I must admit I don’t really get the hate for the move to kawi. Ask cooper Webb how flexible ktm is and ask chase and they would give very different answers. Actually ask anyone not named chase sexton how flexible ktm was on bike set up. I can’t get on board that chase would sign with Kawasaki and they not provide some sort of plan for bike set up. Hell maybe chase spends too much time on bike set up. I think people are over thinking this move as some crazy negative.

People critique Deegan's performance to an insane degree because they don't like him (and because he's set the standard very high for himself with is gab). However, anyone that disputes Deegan has had an extremely successful 250 career, has lived up to the hype, and is a world-class MX racer is lying to themselves. To expect him to perform any better than he's performed is giving him GOAT 250/125 2T expectations, because the only 250/125 2T riders to have succeeded to a higher degree at this age are all-timers like Villopoto, Stewart, and Carmichael.

Kawi has won plenty of 450 championships in the last 10 years and ya’ll are acting like he’d be signing with Cannondale or Aprilia.

All these top riders and Craig still gets Star Yamaha factory bike to ride around lap down that is something doesnt make sense.

You’re answering your own question. Why did he choose to race this year if he wanted out two years ago? Why would he race next year if he wanted out two years ago?

I’m speculating but by Barcia’s latest interviews, it sounds like he’s out of the Austrian umbrella after this year. He’s always been tight with TLD even when he was on Yamaha so I feel like he’s gotta be a lock at Ducati.

I still think deegan gets too much flack here. Outdoor champ, current points leader who's won races. Vialle has two world titles, no national titles, current points leader, but hasn't won a race this year and he gets a pass.

Triumph are only planning on running one 450 guy (Smith).

I think Deegan is simply just a much better outdoor rider than SX rider. I would be surprised if he didn't win this outdoor title without an injury or a bunch of mechanicals.

Vialle won a race last year (outdoors).

If Chase goes to Kawi then I see it pretty similar to the Lawrence bros at Honda. One phenom title threat A rider (Jett and Chase) and the other super solid fringe title threat B rider (Hunta and Jorge). SX showed that Jorge will most likely not adapt as fast as planned.

if Kawi is going all in on Prado and Sexton in hopes for an outdoor title that could have both Jett and Tomac back on the gate... I dont know if that's a basket id be willing to put all my eggs in if i was a betting man.

There is zero chance they would give hill another chance.
