I would have loved too, but after my disaster of a season in 2024, I didn’t deserve to take a spot there from anyone. I wanted to regroup, get off the Honda and back on the Austrian brand bike with my prior suspension company and rebuild. I feel I am in a much better place than I was in 2022/2023 and I am going to keep plugging away at the Lawrence compound.

Some of you seem way too focused on a second and a half of wrong engine sounds used during a scene fade that you're missing just how awesome this looks. Just with the voiceover interviews and the race footage from the trailers, seeing this should be on every moto fan's calendar. I really hope it goes up on a streaming platform at some point early next year, because we don't usually get documentaries, much less indy documentaries at military base theaters, and it's highly unlikely this will play in Japanese theaters.

Did anyone else catch that the lap counter was always wrong. It was showing how many laps were completed, not what lap they were on. went to 8/8 as they crossed the line. Timing was fucked up because the intermediate split wasnt picking half the riders up, so it was all over the place, that makes it hard work to follow, and hearing the crowd get loud while we are watching a battle for 12th for 4 laps was a tad annoying.

People can bitch about the broadcast and all that, but I'm happy there's just racing to watch at this time of the year. I liked the track was big, not real technical but the dirt breaking down made it a technical track and had separation. Also Eli looked great out there, his starts were on point and we all know how fast Kenny is at these type of races with his sprint speed. And Eli worked him, and these are the track conditions he struggled in sx this year. So I'm excited to see him keep progressing in to next...

SuperDuperFinal scoring was really bad.. VF was showing 1st, then 10th.. Much better than WSX was last year, but not quite there yet.

Well it wasn't perfect, but it definitely was a step in the right direction in my opinion. I understand that it's a pain to carry tough blocks around the world and that it can be a rider safety if you catch a footpeg or whatever, but maybe they could resolve that problem by having 10-15 real tough blocks and putting them in strategic places, like the first turn corner and maybe where tight inside line form.

Other than that besides not showing Kenny and Tomac battling for the lead in the third race, the broadcast was pretty cool with minimum delay between races. (2 hour broadcast damn). Also wish they would have showed the super poles, I love them.

Huge props, huge step for the series. Great track. Decent racing. Decent broadcast. Loved the way the new CEO spoke, really seems realising and in the ball. Also call me weird i think pushing glacier till is a great move in creating a differentiation of surface at each track. Vancouver is unique specifically because of the glacier till. Also it sounds cool. Only three issues tonight. Cardboard tough blocks, rocks on the edge of the track. Timing couldn’t handle two number ones in the track.

If WSX can work out the kinks and grow it into something bigger. This could turn into a great off season series so we don’t have to sit around from October to January waiting for the AMA series to start. It’s definitely not terrible and it has my attention so I’ll give them that.
