One way to quantify their speed (question was who is faster) is compare their qualifying lap times to the 450s. I haven’t been doing that other than they pointed out on TV at one race that Craig would have qualified 3rd fastest in the 450 class that day.

Were 450’s a mistake ? Yes. Are we too far down the rabbit hole to go back now. Also yes. I think the biggest drawback is how much they beat up the tracks. Back in the two stroke days the tracks stayed in much better shape imo.

You know what Eli is a class act. The BS isnt coming from him. Its the media and fans. When asked about his new bike and how it compares to his old KX, he didnt say oh its waay better! he said ummm its better in some ways and not in others. Eli is a good guy and the media is trying to create drama and they need a story. But the media needs to change its story.
