5/26/2012 7:08pm I've never had that problem on a KTM, and no modern KTM has ever had that strap. I don't know Jap bikes that well, I've just always assumed that's how they keep they number plate on, as the KTM's have a bolt in the center top portion of the plate.

5/19/2011 12:28pm MX-Tech in Illinois. They're mostly known for being god's with KTM suspension, but they're great with everything. Jeremy (owner and their main guy) used to actually race a Suzuki a few years back and he is pretty darn fast too. They know their stuff. www.mx-tech.com

As they say dress for the crash, not for the ride. My brother Nick and I both run Shoei VFX-W's, my dad has an Arai, and my brother Chris has an old Bell Moto 8 that is also falling apart. The main shell is fine, just the vent covers break and fall apart.

2/17/2011 8:33pm Try chopping your seat down. I have one on my KTM and it helps a lot. I'm only 5'4 so it's still a little stretch to reach the ground, but obviously it doesn't change the suspension at all.

1/24/2011 7:08pm Sunset Ridge MX is absolutely amazing, it's in Walnut, IL. Seriously the best track in Illinois. It's probably too far north for you, but it would definitely be worth the drive.
