4/5/2024 8:16am I figured out the Hinson clutch cover that KTM sells for the 250f puts the stock oil fill cap in a position that it gets kicked loose for me. I switched to a Ride Engineering plug that is much lower profile and it is staying tight for now.

4/5/2024 8:15am Lol been there done that, lost a shifter 2 laps into an XC race, stuck in second gear. Did 3 more laps revving the absolute piss out of my bike. I just use red loctite on that bolt now and a new OEM shifter. Hasnt came off since.

4/5/2024 8:15am I definitely use thread locker on those bolts. Make sure you spray some brake cleaner on there to get the threads nice and clean before. I gotta look into the safety wire as well because losing that would be a rough day. Just recently lost my oil fill cap. Luckily it was a 2 stroke, but I'm looking into adding safety wire on a few spots now.

4/5/2024 6:59am The auto clutch is the only one that takes it away. The X version still allows the clutch to function as normal, but wont stall easily and ditches engine braking. It is also the least expensive auto version.

4/4/2024 10:37am You might give an elite guy a way to come through the pack easier. And always have the same top 4 or 5 guys. Even if one of them gets a really bad start. But unless they all start together, whoever gets the start will open up a giant gap with fewer guys able to battle with them on the first few laps. They will be able to just take the fastest lines and not worry about a guy passing them back if its not one of the 3 or 4 guys who can run that speed. Really the only...

4/4/2024 8:34am Last AX i raced in Asheville NC back in 2001, we had 11 whoops AND A TRIPLE in the middle. The triple was there for the jump contest at halftime. Of course Todd Bennick won it every time. lol. If they can put 11 whoops in a small AX arena , safely, then obviously it should never be a problem...

4/4/2024 8:29am I didn’t read all the responses and I’ll bet it already been said. But WTF can’t we just have different track designs and obstacles every round? Why is every triple ??ft and we need 9 fucking whoops? Stupid

4/4/2024 6:52am Its a balance. Last week people complained about boring races, Jett checking out. What do you think would happen if the tracks got more difficult? Even more separator. Suddenly Eli starting 8 is not a problem, he will be on the podium any way but still lose so much time that he can't reach Jett and Chase (or maybe Webb). He will blow by 4-7, and then nothing. He will stop pushing when he notice Jett is 10sec ahead and it can't be gained. You can sit there and go wow they went 0.5sec faster through the whoops, or did...

4/4/2024 6:51am Supercross is a SHOW, and the elite of the elite are the draw. Better racing? Sure, maybe some of the time....but I'd take seeing legends of the sport doing legendary things at the front, and a few more guys struggling, than seeing the dude who gets third in the LCQ hit the exact same lines as a guy with 50-something wins. For those of you who will argue of course Tomac wants the tracks harder, because HE'S the elite....Phil was saying the same thing. These new rules aren't about safety, they are about something else. If it was REALLY about...

4/4/2024 6:40am Well that was depressing, obviously it's the bikes making the racing poor these days, it will only get worse with E bikes.

4/3/2024 10:53am I live in the same area and was at those same races. My first Supercross was at Fulton Co in ‘80. I even went to the old Six Flag Nationals. There are a lot of moto savvy people in this area. Many that know way more than I do. As stated, I mentioned that could have been wrong. I don’t really keep up with stats. I did remember him crashing out a lot during those first few races, but remember RC winning Charlotte because it had a bit of a motocross section and he was absolutely flying in that part...

4/3/2024 10:46am The whole track thing is a joke. You can provide safe racing by slowing the track down. The fact that they game the tracks down to tighten racing is an atrocity. More dirt, slow the tracks down and they won’t get as gnarly beat up and when the injuries happen they aren’t as severe.
