Seems the older guys are the biggest stars in the 250 class minus Deegan. Makes you wonder if Forkner will have something for him on the east coast.

Look at his age. RJ and Jordon are both 27/28, Kitchen is 22. Jo is at their level while being younger (21). He’s won more races than them outdoors and has finished higher than them (2nd in 2022, 3rd in 2023. In SX, he set the fastest time in San Diego, and had pretty much the same average lap time as RJ at A1. He has the riding ability but doesn’t have the racing ability.

Just a random thought, but old-school Pit Bits used to have photos of practice and qualifying which dug deeper into what gear riders were wearing etc. I always thought those were really cool and I would love to see stuff like that again.

Current outlook is for about 0.2" of rain so hopefully it won't be too bad. On Sunday it looks like they'll get absolutely hammered with 1.25".

Well, the chances of rain are gone for now. There was a significant chance of heavy rain in the forecast for late Saturday night after the race but that is gone for now and the forecast is looking good. This can all change again in the next couple days, but we're looking good. With that said, we'll likely be back to the Jett show.
