Not sure if you meant to imply that Alessi was the Rhinestone Cowboy or not. But this guy was for sure....and he was awesome.

Forty Liked a reply to forum topic What are little things you do to dial in your bike?

Bars/controls, including brake lever and most important for me, shift lever height. throttle position and slack, Clutch engagement and pull,

I adjust the reach on my levers to where the first joint on my index finger can wrap over the lever. That kind of keeps your finger locked in and I also keep my middle finger resting on the lever too. For braking I use only use my index but I use my middle and index on the clutch lever.
I throw on super low bars and dial in my lever position with an angle finder. I like to weight the front end and having the angle of my levers being out of whack throws everything off so these changes give me both. I'm also a stickler for setting my front brake to where I can wrap my index finger...
I got a new bike in July! Its been a few years since my last new bike, and I've been enjoying getting it dialed in. Obviously springs for rider weight and setting sag are huge, but there are some little things that really make a difference for me like: Ditching the stock grips for some nice ODI's Greasing the pivots on levers for a smoother feel (helps on the hydro clutch too in my experience) Spending time on bar and lever position instead of setting it at home and just getting used to it. (how far in the lever is...

I've had super good luck with these, I've never had a pair split or fall apart and have tons of hours on them. I don't love the fit on the newest version though. I recently got their new supertech glove and it fits a size small but the fit itself is insane. They are a total bitch to get on your hand but they fit more like a golf glove but feel far more durable. I only have like 5 hours on them but still look brand new.

I finally got around to trying on the Launchmode pants that I got. And WOW, they seem 2 sizes bigger than the Pulse stuff I have. I wanted to see how the same size would fit, I gained some weight too so it worked out perfectly. The new stuff fits true to size. I now wear the same size pant in Thor, Carhart and Moose. Anybody that disliked the old Pulse stuff should give the new stuff a shot. So far customers overall like the Launchmode stuff better since it fits more true to size. And I don't have to...

Thor was always my go to for my kids as it was durable, attractively priced, and I liked the legacy. I still think the lineage to Torsten is underplayed. For those unaware, not only was he a multi time world champion, he was fundamental in introducing Motocross to the United States.
