Prado is vindicated. Both sexton and march banks have been a complete mess

A factory team should be able to build a "good" bike right out of the gate. Each rider has preferences though and they need to communicate how to get there. The feedback might be that the bike is twitchy and the rear is losing grip on corner exits. The team might suggest lowering or softening the rear. If the rider...

Thats a very childish take on how to expect to build a winning team.

Not taking any sides, but Headcases like Chase are WHY people like Roger D get rigid with the window. He doesn't know what he wants and apparently can't communicate it well. Not saying teams should be so rigid, but it becomes a self reinforcing thing bc the tech nerds don't want a rider thats stuck in his feelings to lead them on a wild goose chase. The more clear and articulate and specific and convicted a rider is the more likely the team will bend. Lewis Hamilton struggles because he gives shitty feedback. Max verstappen excels partly because he gives...

I'd have to look back at the actual races to put the results in context. Chase is known for making stupid mistakes that cause rides that are good enough for a podium to be a 5th-8th way more often than he should. He's not known for riding like a 5th-8th guy ever. This looks different than every other year unless...

In one day of setup the PC guys had Chase going 22nd to 4th at San Diego, and a win the following weekend. Then Fahie put their suspension back on with supposedly comparable settings. I say let PC work with Chase a week or two.

So i listened and to be honest there wasnt a lot that i hadnt already heard, save for Jake calling out Fahie for being a liar. But as i always bang on about, there are people in Factory Teams, that would rather lose than win with something that wasnt their idea, and this 100% confirms it. In 2009/10 we had six different sets of clamps, 3 Specs of Swingarms, and 3 different linkage shock clevis set ups for our SXV 450 Aprilia's , and we were working out of the corner of a barn. 3 Sets of Ice Parts clamps...

A rider with a supercross championship, 17 supercross wins and 23 podiums coming into a season on a new bike that many have been critical of, they’re going to get looked at. Now when they come into that new season and only have 1 podium (the win) so far, it’s going to raise a bunch of questions. If the only thing Chase changed is teams, it’s pretty obvious it’s the bike. It’s not just us, there have been a few media guys questioning if this is the right move.

I get what you're saying and I think Chase is probably not good at setting up a bike. Kawi probably isn't as bad as the doomers are saying and hopefully they can figure it out. At the very least, I think that bike is hard to setup and probably sensitive to conditions. I'm panicked on Chase though. Have you watched...

Mate, I'm not even a Prado fan but that's not telling the full story. That's including his DNS due to injury in Seattle. Prior, he was actually 7th in points, tied in points with a 450 SX Champion, Jason Anderson. And other than maybe Justin Cooper being 2 points ahead at the time(a 250 SX Champ in his own right), which one of the guys ahead of him would you expect him to be doing better than? Sexton? Roczen? Webb? Hunter? Eli? C'mon man. Give him credit where credit is due. It's an incredibly stacked field and he has multiple...

But before the last two rounds, he just looked like Chase on a new bike. He was fast but ran into the gate and tucked the front. The last two rounds, he doesn't have elite speed and he still tucked the front. It's weird to see Sexton being passed on track and holding up other guys.

No big jumps in nutrition? The "macros are macros" argument misses the massive jump in how they’re applied. Back in RC’s 2006 era, it was just "clean fueling"—mountains of pasta and chicken to survive the grind. Today, it’s about metabolic precision. These guys are using CGMs (Continuous Glucose Monitors) to see exactly how their blood sugar reacts to specific carb sources. It’s not just "eating carbs" anymore; it’s using something like highly branched cyclic dextrin to keep blood sugar perfectly flat so they don't spike and crash mid-moto. Hydration has gone from "drink a gallon of Gatorade" to custom sweat-profile...

There is truth in what he is saying PEDs and supplements are light years ahead of what they used to be, and that is a huge contributor to recovery Food and nutrition are the same, but there has been advancements in specialty diets that helps recovery and even brain health. There are also better ways to monitor the body now to help guys control over training and stress levels. I think it’s why the guys who grind now can go into their 30 and their bodies aren’t as tired. Eli said that he doesn’t train some days if his is...

RC was heads/tails above everyone else when he was racing, for sure. That said - the guys today are much more fit - better training programs, better nutrition, better injury prevention and recovery programs, better PEDs, etc. RC could certainly be competitive in terms of raw talent, but he would hit his physical limit much sooner. The 2026 athlete is optimized to operate at 95% of their maximum capacity for longer with a much lower risk of breakdown. It's really not debatable.

Ty for the receipts. Interesting and he looked spicy this week. Like, right out in qualifying he was ripping. That's good news. I was wondering about if the riders really don't like the bike and how Deegs is going to transition to outdoors on the new platform. Much better sign if Coop gets along with it.

It becomes easier to believe if you get your facts straight and include the AC and Anderson years. It's also been a dozen years since RV won his last title for them. Not sure how relevant that is for today's bike.

I think his inability to move forward when starting 7-10 is most alarming, given his speed advantage in years past.
