It's not just the anodizing, you have to get all of the scratches out, and deeper marks from tire irons, otherwise they will stick out like a sore thumb. Honestly that is likely where I'm going to go. That company produces a better gold color than the Excel rims. The price is right as well, plus they have a 480 on their website and it looks badass! Compression will go up 20-30psi once it runs for 30+seconds and the rings expand. If yours is still low after all of that work then compression is likely bleeding out somewhere other than the piston rings. Power valve could be the culprit.

When you say a hanging idle, I'm assuming you mean it's hovering around 1500-2000rpm or so. Check the throttle cable, it may be kinked or broken. Pull the airbox off of the carb and unhook the throttle cable at the throttle and make sure that the slide goes all the way down to the bottom. If that slide is up...

Blame the tracks not the bikes. It's not the bikes' fault that there are 90+ foot triples on all of these tracks, or insane gaps that the top guys make every lap. There's a huge event coming up in my area called Zoar Valley Motocross Reunion. It's a track from the 70's/80's. There's maybe 3 or 4 places on it...

The PC pipe I bought fits perfectly. The UFO front fender , rear fender and front number plate are also perfect. The Maier side panels suck. They sort of fit but nothing like the original Yamaha stuff. The fork boots were good, the seat cover not so much. I guess I'm about 50/50 as far as cosmetic stuff goes lol.
