3/12/2025 4:47am It has a new cover from the previous owner. He gave me the old magnesium cover which honestly isn't too bad. Whenever the bike sits I drain the coolant. He said the new cover is aluminum but I don't know how to tell them apart so I'm not taking any chances.

3/10/2025 2:26pm I ordered a PC pipe for it. It was the only one I could find in stock. The factory pipe on it was bent in a few places and not sealing well against the exhaust port. Thank you very much for all of the information!!!

What a trip. My best friend's first new bike was an '85 YZ125 and his second was an '87 YZ250. I'm looking forward to the rebuilds!

3/4/2025 4:28pm I bought a few cans of custom mixed RAL 2002 paint. I painted the subframe and I didn't like it. Was too orange imo. Then I bought 2 cans of ColorRite flash red for 85-87 CR's. The color is perfect.
