Can he? Certainly. Most people have the ability to forgive. Will he? Highly unlikely. His past has built up to this action. His support group/circle encourages this for their "Look at Me" mentality (Social Media). Like the apology he issued Saturday evening (There was none). I do not foresee it coming. While he is a fantastic dirt bike rider, he has failed as a human being. I am betting he does not see what he did was wrong. His move now.

Exactly. I was going to add that it was disgusting listening to RC celebrate the antics last night. As one of the sport’s legends and someone responsible for representing it to viewers, he was an epic failure last night by condoning the BS. Just shows how some feel the need to gargle the gonads of the “next big thing”.

What Jo says to the public and what he is really feeling are probably total opposites. Jo isn't the type to offend people or get under their skin. He's a very respectful guy and it's obvious in how he conducts himself. How can anyone not be pissed at Deegan after he pulled that crap on you.

Deegan’s Moto 2 was messy from start to finish. The takeout was one thing, but the repeated slow-downs and antics that followed were another level. That kind of behavior might be entertaining in an amateur setting, but it has no place in professional sport. Fans expect hard, clean racing — not gamesmanship that makes the race look like a circus. At this level, riders should be setting the standard, not lowering it.

Such a strange response... Why even defend him? Does it hurt you personally that people are calling out Deegan's absolutely abhorrent behavior? These types of replies seem like a reflection on society as a whole these days. Everyone so attached to their "guy", their "team", etc. Oh, you're saying my guy did something shitty? That feels bad, can't be true, I will now lash out, then retreat into my echo chamber(s) and bring more ammo to the next argument. Already see the "Fans are so soft these days" defenses everywhere. What makes this situation so much sweeter is that Jo is the complete opposite of Deegan. Deegan is one extreme, Jo is on the other. Other riders at least snap back at Deegan, but Jo just always minds his own business, doesn't talk trash, and just lets his riding do the talking. Absolute stud.

Needs to have a multi race suspension honestly.
