I really thought the pass on Prado by the 243 was impressive. Both guys were setting a fast pace.

What we saw from the Czech Grand Prix was exactly why I love this sport so much deep in my heart! The crowd the atmosphere the track the weather and on top absolutely masterclass racing! I was standing up on the floor watching herlings pushing in both mxgp motos when he was looking at his opponents at that jump every lap an did a small scrub at the same time just pure gold! When motocross is like this it’s just amazing to watch and it deserves so much more credit I just love it 🫶

Lower motor in the frame with a ProX piston original bore size. The original piston was in great shape. But I had to give it a freshie. With that in I threw the jug on. Made sure to coat all the metal against metal with some synthetic 2 stroke oil. Crank bearings were lubed with this same oil. All other bearings received the Maxima assembly lube. It was first time I see Herlings give up. But in reality, it was very hot day and he looks done with fitness. From bad start, two crashes, to fourth place, he was again fantastic.

Looks like I grabbed some before pictures and after. I got lazy and just selected this bunch. These appear to be after I have removed casting lines on the cylinder and prior to smoothing/polishing. There are images of the smoothing work that I did. Since this was the last motor of the four I managed to really smooth as much as I could. Various wheels on a Dremel is what I used. My method for cleaning out circular passageways. I wonder how many who build their own motors go to this effort. Cylinder is ready for tape off and spraying...

Interesting GP coming up for both classes! Even when the points are not that close, it really could change some momentum into the last few rounds! Can Lucas go 1-1 and put pressure on Kay who is already made some unnecessary mistakes! Will Gajser take over the series or will Prado gets back with a 1-1-1 on a start dependent track. Or will the “3rd” man Herlings get on a roll and steal a win! Herlings starts are improved but are they enough on a track like Loket? Febvre will be back wich is awesome, will he straight be back...
