It was an awesome week, thanks for asking! He unfortunately did not get the results he was after due to some bad luck but I couldnt be happier or more proud. He ended up getting 19th overall in 450C and 22nd in 250C. First moto of the week, 450C, started off with an unlucky chip draw of 39, fought his way through the pack and finished 20th. Second moto of the week, 250C, chip draw was a little better, 18th gate pick, finished 13th! 450C moto 2, 20th gate picked, finished 13th again! He was riding hard and setting himself...

Proud dad post, so just bare with me here. This kid started riding dirt bikes at 5, and I just knew there was something there. The problem was, he was terrified to race, wanted no parts of it. Fast forward, 7 years old, met some kids at the local track, worked up the courage to race a harescramble. 6 years and 8 championships later he finally worked up some more courage to race a motocross race (that he swore he had no interest in). That was fall of 2024, a year later in the fall of 2025 he decided to...

I'll be 52 in November of this year Seems like one day I'm 19 years old pitting our of a Mitsubishi Mighty Max at Sacramento Raceway for some 125 beginner action, and the next I'm 50+, church-of-350, can't get through the night without getting up to piss. It goes by quick.

I understand the humor in your descriptions of each age, but I'm in the 61-70 and have a lot left. I plan to ride for another 40 years, at least, seriously. I plan on living to 120. If you'd like me to take part in the poll, you'll have to change the descriptions. To use a golf term, at 60, we've just started on the back 9.

For snoqualmies moto timeline post. My parents we're not into motorcycles, at all. Sorry long read, turn back now unless your bored and have some time to kill 😄 1st motorcycle experience. I was young kid, don't remember how old. Our neighbors invited us to go camping at Leo Carillo state beach. The neighbor asked my parents if I wanted a ride on the "Yamaha" I had no idea wtf a "Yamaha" was. All I remember from that weekend is they had a big silver trailer (Airstream) and not wanting to get of the back of the "yamaha". Later that...

I'll be 63 years young on Monday the 17th (and my 4th grandchild was born yesterday!). Started riding the handmedown '71 Honda Trail 70 at 11 years old that my dad learned to ride on at 41, and my 3 siblings then eventually me, and I was hooked. Never raced motocross as a kid but followed moto with my dad from the early 70s, and did a few Hare Scrambles in NE Ohio and Western PA. Of course we went to the drive-in to see On Any Sunday in the blue Colony Park Mercury stationwagon complete with fake wood side...

I was in the Air Force and stationed in Germany from 1984 - 1986. I was in my late 20s. In 85 I drove down to Belgium for the 500GP at the famous Namur circuit. I drove down by myself on a Friday. It was about 4 hours from where I lived in central Germany. I got there right at dark. No google maps back then. I didn't know exactly where the track was but I knew I was close. I parked under a tree and went to sleep. Early in the morning I heard the sound of a bikes...

Beautiful WR man! and you're doing a great job with it. I love Japanese enduro bikes from the '80s and '90s, both the OEM enduros (KDX, WR, RMX, etc.) and those modified for enduro by small builders. There's an incredible following for classic enduro in France; I often go to watch races of the French Classic Enduro Championship. I'll keep...

Hi, I wanted to share the build of my 1997 yamaha WR 250. It is road regsitered here in France. I am planning to ride it in vintage MX and enduro races. Here are some pictures of the starting point wich looked like a decent bike from far away. After the first test ride i realized that a lot of what has been done was not to my liking so i had the idea of what this bike needed.

I have a bike show I'd like to enter it in next weekend. It will likely be 99% done and running and all that, but even if it's not, it looks like it runs lol. Made a ton of progress today. Just waiting on stupid number plate backgrounds and a few odds and ends.

Took some money I scored from 8th grade graduation, even though mom and dad said no way, and went to a couple older kids house that had an SL70 for sale I knew of. They took me out back to teach me to ride it, and said hold the throttle open all the way and let go of the clutch. Of course landed on my ass, whipped out the couple hundred bucks and pushed it home. That was 43 years ago, and I’ve never been without at least one dirtbike in all those years. I currently have myself, 3 sons...
