As I said in a previous thread, if Herlings can win here then he has a really good chance at the championship especially with the Dutch & Belgium rounds coming up.
Interesting GP coming up for both classes!
Even when the points are not that close, it really could change some momentum into the last few rounds!
Can Lucas go 1-1 and put pressure on Kay who is already made some unnecessary mistakes!
Will Gajser take over the series or will Prado gets back with a 1-1-1 on a start dependent track. Or will the “3rd” man Herlings get on a roll and steal a win! Herlings starts are improved but are they enough on a track like Loket?
Febvre will be back wich is awesome, will he straight be back on his old form?
Vlaanderen won here a moto last year and is also doing good lately!
Herlings for sure needs three good starts, he is on a roll at the moment but on a track like Loket he has to have them figured out
Brent van Doninck is on the entry list, nice to see.
The Shop
Herlings has raced Loket only twice since 2013. Yes, only twice!
Febvre, Van Doninck and Forato are making their comebacks. Benistant is on the entry list aswell, but he hasn't started bike training yet, so I guess he's still out. Geerts is training almost every day, it's still not confirmed if he will be back at Lommel. Fernández got back on the bike for the first time this week, but his return isn't for the coming weeks.
Hi guys, from early tomorow Im up in Loket, Im local and I can help with anything do you want. Great to see Febvre back, but Loket is always tought, especially for Jeffrey.
I think it was 2018 where he dominated, and.. one other time i cannot recall.
In 2015 he dislocated his hip. We were watching it and heard his screams from a long distance
Loket always is a special GP. If you’re visiting for the first time, some nice restaurants in Karlovy Vary nearby
2012 was the other time. He was battling with Searle. Tommy knocked Herlings down on the corner after the start finish straight. Herlings run him down & run him high in the bowl corner before the big hill to take the win.
That was before 2013 😝 But yes, that was an epic race. He was riding with a few broken ribs and some stitches in his face due to a car incident in Russia a few weeks prior, talk about heart!
I think he raced it in 2017 as well
Febvre always rides really well over there. Great track to come back for him
I noticed that after I posted ha ha.
Bobby Bruce in MXGP this weekend, interesting to see how he will do
That is a crazy statistic.
Loket is a great track, every year i saw i will go, would have been a good double header with Lommel, from the UK, but as usual, i havent managed to make it happen.
Big weekend for Jeffrey, that is for certain.
40 guys in MXGP! That’s been a while!! On one side amazing to see, but on the other side there are a bunch off riders that simply don’t belong there and will be a pain in the ass for the leaders and the race.
Some riders keep coming back while race after race they are big time off the pace and getting lapped twice. They have to do something about this!
Cripes, de Wolf had a vicious prang in that Qualifier Moto!
He was Very lucky not to have axed himself, and, got back up to get 6th, and 5 points.
'Large' , got the win. There was some good, 'spirited' racing in the MX2 class.
The 65s and 85s getting out on such a track shows just how good those little blighters are - it's an intimidating track, even for adults.
Kay de wolf was really lucky that he wasn't injured.....lucas coenen is getting better and better.......and kay de wolf more an more mistakes ..i would put my money on coenen now
Gajser & Prado going at it.
Pit Row
That was an intense MXGP race, Prado made one bobble and that was it, never got a show Gajser a wheel the whole race.
Herlings needs to find a second.
And tomorrow we will see why a 40 rider gate is a shit idea.
Good to see so many riders back from injury, Febvre will need to ride himself into fitness.

Red flag for Jack Chambers crash, hope he's ok.
....literally taken off the track in an ambulance.
Looked like a serious accident for Chambers, staying down long time and eventually taken away in ambulance, hope he'll be okay.
MX2 restart coming up
Fingers crossed Chambers is okay, didn’t look good…
Curious how the broadcast is going to pan out - 2 minutes left yet 7+2 remaining of the race. I guess MXGP-TV can continue on but not sure what would happen for those watching on a live tv channel?
Damn hope Chambers is ok! Where is Prugnieres?
A lot happened in the restart race as well. Karsemakers, Kooiker, Adamo, S Coenen had hard crashes. I noticed how wel Mikulla was riding but he crashed out with two laps to go as well.
Walvoort with another top 10! P9 is awesome
Great damage control by de Wolf, didn’t look too comfortable at all. Lucas Coenen is on another level right now
Chambers had a massive crash on Pit Lane right in front of me, stayed down for a while but was moving extremities which is a positive sign hopefully he will have a quick recovery
Chambers is ok
