There's no way to know for certain. This debate is similar to the Steelers of the 70's versus the 49ers of the 80's. MC's competition cannot be viewed objectively. A viewer's impression of Yogi or DV was influenced by MC; how they fared against MC. Consider rider x, a mythical rider who is 5-10 times better than whoever you consider...

Thank you for the pictures and video. That E-town video from way back still blows my mind. Go JLaw!

Jlaw is on a bit of a downswing. Maybe he will turn it around, maybe not. If you're partial to the later, no need to kick a man while he's down. Just let it play out. If you're right, you're right. For what it's worth, I wish him the best.

I have nothing but respect for Larry Brooks. Whether he is a great team manager or a mediocre one, he gives it his all. He is as passionate about this sport as anyone.

Now that Short and Alessi get solid starts, the argument is that it does not take a great...

hey_man Added a reply to Anyone use hitch carriers to haul their bikes?

2/15/2011 6:45pm
How many tie-downs do you guys use? The manual for my rig recommends 4: one on the right side of the bars to the carrier, another on the left side of the bars, one underneath the carrier from foot peg to foot peg and one over the rear tire. I found that slack can develop in a tie-down and the...

I use one and also find the wobble disconcerting. But, I think once all of the nuts are tightened, a bit of give may be a good thing allowing for some "bend" rather than a break. I hastily secured the bike to the carrier the last time I used it and I had a tip-over for the first time. I...
