Hey, check this out from Lawrence taken from Ryan Gauld's Monday Maniac #12 blog on mxpmag.com:

"Well, as I said above, this past week has been crazy. Jason Lawrence, yes J-Law himself, just contacted me to say how much he misses our Canadian Nats on TV in the states. He also updated me that he will be racing this summer for Suzuki City on a 450. Apparently J-Law and his buddies just love the Canadian Nats. I suggested for him to come race some and maybe fill in the spot for Leading Edge. He replied "The Canadian border don't like me dude." haha. Ya I guess that would put a kink in the plans."

im not gonna argue with this clown anymore. we gonna have to just agree to disagree on the Jlaw thing.

i just hope he makes an amazing return to racing. fuck the haters, fuck me, fuck you, fuck everyone.. i wanna see the kid do good for himself. cause maybe good results will help him stay focused,

but thats just an opinion of a "flat-biller"..

Does it seem like Jason is hiding from the MX public and media?

If and when he returns to the big leagues, I would imagine him to be a nervous wreck.... which would make it challenging to perform at a podium level.

Ultimately it comes down to his decision and his decision alone. He's still a very capable rider as demonstrated in that video but at the end of the day he'll never amount to more than.. "some fast kid that was at Blue Diamond today" - unless he wants it enough to put the effort in. Of course he did win a regional title but as of yet he hasn't achieved anywhere near his potential.

Having said that, if he doesn't want to come back to Pro AMA racing then there's nothing wrong with that either.

We're all different and it's not necessarily for everyone. You don't have to be an active Pro in order to get enjoyment out of the sport, life's about being happy and he obviously look's to be enjoying his riding again - which is a good first step and may reignite his desire for more. I'm by no means a Jason fan but I don't hate the guy either. I'd like to see him back but only time will tell.

I could care less about J Laws results this summer, If he finished every race in the top 5 people opinions may change but will that help him as a person? I just hope he gets his life turned around and becomes a useful member of society and not burden on the tax payers (ie jail) What he does on a bike should be secondary.

Doesn't really matter how educated voters are ...... certain politicians get elected regardless of how the public votes IMO. Unfortunately there are way too many dumb people out there to flood the polls and ruin it for the rest sounds contradictory to my first sentence but it makes sense to me :p

What a waste of talent. Out there riding around with a bunch of quads and goons. I was a big JLAW fan because I loved to watch him ride... and to see someone with that much talent let it go to waste is a huge disappointment.

The TransWorldMX video of JLAW testing on the 450 is still one of the best videos I have ever seen (except for the rap at the end). I still watch that one a lot. Love the way he just launches himself 3-4 deep into the whoops.

Not saying he's a waste of talent because he's riding with slower people... but because he's at a local track in New Jersey riding around during the middle of the best Supercross season in a very long time.

Just think what this supercross season would be like if an in-shape JLAW was thrown in the mix! Woohoo
