saw him ride at Bercy. He goes good. He did get into it with Barcia on Sunday though.

I have seen him many times and one thing come to mind, he can be inconsistent....he goes hot or cold
If he's hot, he MIGHT make the main, if not, no chance.
Keep this in mind, in the German SX series, on a GOOD DAY, Fabien has to push to beat JT$, and the tracks over there are nothing like AMA SX, and the level of competition here and the aggressiveness of riders here is many notches higher.
It's going to be tough for him, lot of pressure.
I wish him luck, but man, this is a big ass leap into a big ass fire.

Fabien's lap times on the Kawi test track were pretty good (only a second slower than Villopoto)... We'll see...

He got 14th last year at A1 and qualified for the first 6 races last year, so he is a good sx rider but coming in mid -season in a more stacked field, getting the bike in the main should be his first goal, if he rides good he could maybe get top 15 again.. but the field is deeper this year.
