He sat in front of us during practice sessions. He is a BIG boy.We were a little surprised at his hole shot as I think a lot of people were. But he stuck it and we were rooting for him . Also he was so gracious to the little girl that came with us with autographs and such. She said I wished him luck and it worked. On a side note. Got to finally meet Guy B which was one of my goals in going to Toronto. Hope you are feeling better ....All in all a great night of racing. The whoops were killer. Wilson looked the best in them all night in the 250 class.

as a big guy that rides, i find myself rooting for full size dudes like weston, de dycker, and windham.

I remember before last years SX season how Peick felt he was goin to be overlooked cause of his size and how important holeshots are in supercross. pumped for him. i predict a GOOD season for him outdoors

and that is a badass pic GuyB

Lou, You have every right to be proud. How many people can say they have a picture of their son leading some of the best riders in the world into the first turn of a supercross race "not many" . I get excited when my son rails a good corner or has a good day at practice.
I can't imagine how proud you must be.Good luck to weston this year.

We even talked about it today before he raced I told him good starts will make his racing easier to get up front for awhile then pace yourself.
Anyways I just had to say something for my son that never gets any press.

Louie & Weston Peick are the sh!t. They live and breathe moto. I really like both of them a lot. I especially love the way Weston NEVER gives up and is one of the few riders outdoors that actually gets stronger at the end of the moto.

If he can learn to nail his starts consistently, he could certainly be top 5 outdoors. And his Supercross skills are coming along superbly; many thought that he would be horrible at SX but he has proved all the a$$clowns WRONG. I'll always be a Weston Peick fan and I hope he gets a bitchin' ride after putting in a great year this year. Watch for him outdoors!!!

My Two Cents™ . . .

Yes the rig is going to the nationals but as they state the riders pay all there own expenses and we cannot afford to pay to go to all the nationals after doing all the Supercrosses out of are pocket. We will only go to 3-5 of the nationals unless we can get some support.

That tweet was from a complete fatass so it doesn't hold any merit. Go Weston.
I highly doubt this tweet had any sort of negative connotation to it. I like Weston because he is not the typical "moto build" like JS7 and RV2. His build is more like a football player and it is sweet to see someone out there like that.

I was bummed in Indy when he missed the main by 1 spot in the LCQ. He was flying out there and you could tell he really wanted it. Good luck to you and your son this season.

That was very cool that he had the helmet camera on when he got the holeshot and we got to see it on Speed.

Congrats to Weston!!!

I should have thrown an emoticon in there. I wasn't responding in a angry way. I was just stating the obvious.

Louie - glad to hear that Weston was OK after last week. I was looking for his name in live timing this week because all the injury reports focused on the other two guys that went down on the first lap. Anyways, great showing from Weston this year in SX. It sure would be a shame if he doesn't get a ride for outdoors Crap... it is a shame that a rider of his talent doesn't have a ride already and you have to even worry about it.

My 3 y/o daughter got startled...

Seems I started shouting at the TV...

No worries, she jus' looked at me for a minute and said, "Daddy? That doesn't LOOK like James!?"

"No, Ella, that's Weston...and...that's Really Cool."

Had my eye on him since he kicked my ass in the novice class at Vet X way back...and he was a pretty big boy.
Watched him race all over and am stoked how far he has came. Keep up the good work guys!

What was his trick for all the weight loss? seat time, diet, all the above. How much did he lose , he has slimmed down quite a bit, was nt he like 240, now like 210? Weston fan for sure, hope to see you guys for the whole outdoors!

Thanks again everyone. When Weston started racing again in 06 he weighed 268 lbs he worked his ass off training and diet.
Now he stays between 205-210. He did get below 200 at one time but he seemed to get sick all of the time and we dont know why so he went back up a little and he quit getting sick all the time.
