10/15/2025 4:27am It’s the basic principle of heat transfer. It’s all about the delta and not the absolute temperature values. Think about the cooling of turbine blades in a jet engine. The absolute temperature of the cooling gas flow is ridiculously high. But still lower than the temperature in the turbine.

mx_563 Liked a forum topic Grates, blocks, devices and clouds
10/7/2025 3:41am I know this dead horse has been beat to oblivion but dangit I hate the new world order of starting grates, starting blocks and start devices. Does anyone remain unconvinced that more separation out of the gate yields fewer first turn melees? I know I sound like an old man shouting at clouds but I'm over 50 and that's what I do from time to time! LOL! Just look at the skill MC and these guys exhibit as they work to get up and over the gate, this is poetry in motion... https://youtu.be/_VmyOcpEyBE?t=1239 Can we re-introduce the starting gate as...

10/5/2025 7:11pm Trampas, Bobby, Donny, and Mike Healey don't get their due by Americans IMO. While Pomeroy, Lackey, and LaPorte paved the way, those guys represented us well in Europe Adding Rodney Smith. He isn't known for this, but did quite well.

10/5/2025 3:29pm It’s too bad how much moto is a ‘second is the first loser’ sport. Team USA did really well and they should be proud.
Black Diesel Bomber Liked a forum topic Eli Tomac - 32yr old Father of three = Legend
10/5/2025 3:23pm Eli will be 33 next month and he just showed the kids he's 3rd best in the world today. Putting Eli's old age aside he's got 3 little ones to care for, which as some of you know is a huge burden and drains the hell out of you. Yet at his last race with Yamaha, he comes out fighting until the end and puts in an amazing podium finish as the Captain of team USA. Eli is a class act, he never makes excuses, and in fact he often takes full accountability. It's amazing to see him still fighting...

pummel Liked a reply to forum topic Poll- Deegs or JCoop
9/26/2025 5:58am Deegan is the best rider when healthy but there's no way he's going to be at 100%. He declined the offer twice before (could've easily put off surgery a week) Send JCoop- He deserves it. Hayden was unprofessional, childish and dangerous at Vegas. Justin Cooper is all class.
