HardTaco Started a new thread Yz250 power valve carnage
12/16/2020 9:08am 2002 yz250 with low compression 250x head. Wtf? Never broke one of these before. Any one ever done this? Ideas behind what caused it? Yes I use the push rod when assembling and disassembling the PV. It's called the power valve holder and is #9 on the parts fiche for the cylinder. Josh

My yz250x is one of the most predictable enduro bikes I've had. My ktm was nice, light and nimble for trails but the Yamaha's suspension and all round package are perfect for a kick and go ride.

Okay, so, maybe its a stretch, but has anybody ever wondered if Joey Savatgy and Ricky Carmichael are related somehow? Joey has always had a weird relationship with Genie Carmichael (or however you spell it) in the recent years. Maybe their bothers, father son, cousin, who knows.

Because they contracted KYB for the RM-Z250 and in this case, it gets them away from using Showa's BFRC like on the 450 which was not a well excepted item in last year's Shootouts.
