Always thought those tubes on the earlier tanks were particularly cool. (Pun intended) I imagine our 91 tanks were more for their extra capacity, hence the lack of the tubes, and probably unnecessary due to the 91 side panels feeding the airbox better than the '89/90 ones. Screw sticking together. If he's got that kind of attitude, he's bad for business. With regard to the tangent this discussion's taken, yes, all non-modern bikes need to be supported. We're at the point now, where we should be looking as far along as creating a class for the early 00's thumpers / last of the 2T's.

All this talk of Chromaflair paint, and I hadn't seen anything with it since it first became trendy about 10 years ago. Then I see this little Peugeot parked over the road from work. I'll see if I can get a pic on my way out of it's still there.

Barkhard, whats funny is, everyone in the building industry over the age of 50 here in the UK still works in feet and inches. Boards still get referred to as 8'x4's, timbers get referred to as 4"x2", 6"x2" etc. I'm only 33, but have to put everything into feet and inches to visualise it.
