WD40 and some brushes along with some rags and compressed air. Foam brush was a perfect fit between fins. Absolutely did not want to take the pressure washer to it so I just spent a little time and it cleaned up nicely for a 37 year old engine that has never been split apart. Lots of sand cast magnesium and machined titanium moto porn going on here for those vintage Honda fans.

Very cool.. Do you have the chassis that went with it. I love those old air cooled open bikes. Thanks for sharing.

Are they HRC titanium case bolts?
Just curious as I have never seen them with a head like that machined into them.

Super trick factory goodness, sympathetically cleaned.

Excellent stuff. Much better than stock '87's.

Wouldn't knurling reduce the clamping effectiveness?

Rob, I am about 99.9% convinced those forks would not slip even if the pinch bolts were missing.Laughing Quite a pain getting them in and out. I'll add a few notes to some of the pics above when I can. Lots of neat little details going on.

Just curious as I have never seen them with a head like that machined into them.
I am looking to replace the case screws on a Suzuki TM project with slotted 6MM screws. I tried Pro Bole, Mettec, Race Tech Titanium and Racebolts

Looking for a style screw similar to Maico or Husqvarna used back in the 70's made out of TI.

Also looking for a sponsor!!!!!
