With all due respect to Mitch, I can’t help but think that the pro circuit triple clamps are holding his bikes back from being as good as they could be. I know he can make whatever offset the riders want, but switching from pro circuit to xtrig really seemed to help Eli in 2017.

Media hype? Weren’t there more 250 sx champs on the gate this season than ever before? If that’s the case, I’d say it’s the deepest field. He’s also the first and pretty much only guy (other than KR94 2016 mx and DF14 2021 mx) to win a title in the 450 class outside of the Baker’s factory on a consistent basis. Not to mention he’s probably had more championship rivals from Dungey to Sexton than most if not any of the other greats. I think that evens it out. Wasn’t Stew still squeaking out wins around Eli’s age? I feel...

Just a couple weeks ago in a post race press conference Webb said he wished the competition wasn’t so close. I guess things change when you get the red plate.

He can, but as you can see, he'll start at a disadvantage regardless of which class he chooses to race. It's going to be interesting to watch, that's for sure.

Much appreciated, sir. I didn’t know if he’d be allowed to race 250 smx since he couldn’t race 250 sx but I guess that’s separate

JCoop currently has 76 points from racing 450 SX. That won't be enough to put him in the top 20 in combined points for the 450 class. That said, it should be enough points for him to be in the 21-30 range in combined points. That would allow him to race the LCQ to gain one of the final two spots. If he grabs one of the two spots, he would have a slim to none chance of winning the 450 SMX championship. Racing the 250 outdoors, he'll easily score enough points to put him in the top 20 in...

F1 rewards the driver that has the fastest lap of the race with an extra point as long as they finish inside the top 10. I could see that being added to Supercross.

Will JCoop be able to compete in SMX at the end of the year if he doesn’t do 450 outdoors? I’m assuming he won’t be allowed to race 250SMX?
