chrisclifford Liked a reply to forum topic Chase Sexton says he has some work to do with the team
9/14/2024 6:16pm What do you want him to say? “I can’t beat Jett so might as well not try?” Of course he’s going to try and search for a way to go faster. That’s not blaming the bike or the team

Thirteen-II Liked a reply to forum topic ceramic coating on your helmet?
9/10/2024 9:17pm Ceramic isn't necessarily going to reduce scratches. It'll make your helmet shinier (higher gloss) and more hydrophobic. Dust won't stick to it as much, either. You'll also get solid UV protection. I wouldn't opt for a professional grade coating for an mx helmet personally.

flatspin Added a reply to Adam Cianciarulo’s suit
9/7/2024 11:36pm You’d think broadcast crew management would have someone tailor suits for all these guys. Or at least give them pointers of the basics and not do’s. This is their profession. They’re on live television, supposedly calling the “biggest” race of the year. We don’t want them looking like a bunch of yuppies. I’ve previously seen RC’s pocket squares match his...

9/7/2024 11:25pm Looks like he had the bottom button buttoned. Rookie mistake. Makes a proper suit jacket look like a cardigan.

flatspin Added a reply to What does Haiden Deegan owe to US motocross fans?
8/30/2024 3:33pm Way to sound super cliche. Everyone says this dumb phrase anytime a rider does something that the majority of people disagree with. Nobody cares that you think they don’t owe us anything, Nobody was saying he owes us anything to start with.
mattyhamz2 Liked a reply to forum topic Could the Sexton era already be over?
8/27/2024 8:12pm Chase is at the end of his time on a bike that he seems to have lost confidence in. Let's see how next year goes with him on the KTM once he gets it dialed in. Remember, Jett is like everyone else out there and needs to stay off the ground and injury free. Yes, his riding style and how smooth he really is will help that, but this is motocross, you can do something 1000 times and the 1001 time will put you on the ground or cause an injury like we saw with Eli. Anything can happen.

flatspin Added a reply to Team USA: Eli Tomac Takes Himself Out of Consideration
8/26/2024 12:52pm Sounds like he didn’t want to go, and you can’t blame him really. Probably less about AP “deserving” the position and this was the perfect opportunity to come off as the classy guy and not the guy that “didn’t want to go”

CDA331 Liked a reply to forum topic Is it time to band the air horns?
8/22/2024 8:28pm There was a time when people just shouted YEAAAAH!!!!! on the fence line, now all you hear is all those airhorns and train horns. The air horns used to be just a foreigner thing, I would only hear them during the MXGP’s, now they have poisoned the nationals. Can barely hear the podium interviews, just a joke.

8/18/2024 8:14pm Was aways a huge James Stewart fan since seeing him race in person on Team Green at the old GNC amateur nationals at a now closed track called Mosier Valley in the Dallas/Ft Worth area on 85cc bikes. He became one of the best to ever swing a leg over a 125, and invented the scrub. One of the few riders who remained my favorite despite leaving Kawasaki for Yamaha for '09. After he retired, (I didn't like how his career ended, but it is what it is) I know he supposedly starting playing a lot of golf. Got married...

8/13/2024 10:28pm James has definitely added a great new perspective to watching the races for me too. On the Unadilla broadcast he was pointing out rider's various line selections at different sections of the track and how they were impacting each battle for position respectively. I actually found myself paying more attention to the individualized strategies as a result. James was obviously one extremely fast and talented racer and he's really impressed me with his ability to call and breakdown a motocross race with balanced portions of being able to elaborate from the mindset of the pro racer, and being as equally...

8/13/2024 10:28pm I like his insights and real-time opinions, he is quick to analyze what is going on with the riders and tracks beyond what most commentators can see, I am actually learning listening to him. He is also witty and adds fun humor to his commentary without overdoing it. He obviously knows the racing, but he also knows the racers so well, he says things about riders (usually funny), you won't get from Wil

8/13/2024 10:24pm This video came up in my YouTube feed, it's about a James Stewart film that was going to be produced by Paramount Films and even had Tom Cruise involved, worth a watch, didn't know about this story, we always say that MX doesn't spark interest from mainstream media but things like this makes you think otherwise, it would be cool to hear James side of the story...

8/11/2024 8:32pm Sure, maybe all that time he had just wasn’t enough for him to comprehend what was going on. Yeah right.. They probably pick up these flaggers off the side of the freeway so who knows what state of mind they’re in. Wouldn't be surprised. Dude could have been drunk or high and you guys would still be defending him.
