I like how James is getting lots of love because he deserves it! For me I would tune into races because of his amazing talent and his raw ability to do things I haven’t seen on a dirt bike track.

Every weekend James (the racer ) gave us fans something special every time he lined up. Some People say he should have more championships and wins. For me it was more important than any championship. James raced with so much passion, style, speed and the willingness to hang it out Talk about a guy who left nothing on the track, that’s James Stewart. He raced balls to wall, jumping sections other riders didn’t even see, scrubing his balls of triples, holding it Wide the F*** open with only one thing on his mind , and that was to win! These days we have some amazing riders but for me no SX/MX racer has ever been as amazing and more fun to watch than James Stewart! So….

Thanks James Stewart

And he's pretty damn good on the mic too! This past weekend he had me chuckling a few times, this one especially, "Levi just killed that corner, quick, someone call an ambulance, that corner is dead!"😄

I like his insights and real-time opinions, he is quick to analyze what is going on with the riders and tracks beyond what most commentators can see, I am actually learning listening to him.  He is also witty and adds fun humor to his commentary without overdoing it.  He obviously knows the racing, but he also knows the racers so well, he says things about riders (usually funny), you won't get from Wil Wink

One thing I will say about the Stewarts, in a world full of hate and division, and having watched them since they began getting to the pro-am, level, I have never seen them mention race, not ever.  Even when moronic fans threw it at them, they always took the high road.  With race being such a trendy topic the past decade or two, I respect the heck out of them for being themselves, going with the flow and the sport, and not getting mixed up in any of that which seems too easy to get caught up in when you are in professional sports.  I chalk it up to them being true southerners where 95% of all love each other and not letting the rest drag them down or caring.

James has definitely added a great new perspective to watching the races for me too. On the Unadilla broadcast he was pointing out rider's various line selections at different sections of the track and how they were impacting each battle for position respectively. I actually found myself paying more attention to the individualized strategies as a result.

James was obviously one extremely fast and talented racer and he's really impressed me with his ability to call and breakdown a motocross race with balanced portions of being able to elaborate from the mindset of the pro racer, and being as equally amazed and excited to be watching the races just like he's alongside us. And as mentioned already by another poster- he's got some quick and humorous wit to top it off.

I'm hoping that he becomes more of a mainstay in the announcer's booth.

James is a natural in the booth. As SonofThor32 mentioned his family seems amazing. You know they have been through some ugly moments over the years and yet their passion for motocross gave them a north star. We are privileged to have them in our beloved sport.

One thing I love about James is the way he introduces his podcasts. "It's your boy JS7," or some variation of that. He's calling himself out as a friend to you - implying a sort of universal friendship or brotherhood. I don't doubt that I could go introduce myself to him and we'd have a pleasant conversation.

James is the reason I’ve stopped being a fan boy of any one rider. I was in my early 20s for the RC vs JS rivalry and I was such a RC nut hugger I hated James. Fast forward to now and I wish I would have appreciated him more while he was racing. I watch the old videos when they pop up and the dude was just amazing.

His "on tv" race speed, wfo style, while maintaining a humble but ridiculously confident presence made me a fan early on. Watching he and RC dice at a higher level from the rest of the moto world at Hangtown one year solidified it. Don't hug anyone's nuts, but do know he's a special person. And fun to listen to on the broadcasts.

I wouldn’t say natural. He has gotten a LOT BETTER and Weege speaks a lot about his commitment to the role.

Hard work plus knowledge plus charisma is a good.

I’m usually a broadcast hater but it’s gotten much better the last two weeks.

AC is good at analysis but absolutely horrible at interviewing riders.  He’ll get better if given the chance.

James is awesome and we have been so lucky, and are so lucky to have him in our sport.  His folks have done an amazing job with those two young men.

Agree, like JS7 commentary.

One thing I don't understand.  With either JS7 or RC4.  Why doesn't Weigant bring up their previous exploits more?

This week at Budds, much talk of one lined and difficult to pass.  Yet this is the track where James went last to first.  You would think there would be some mention.  Maybe even ask if he found best places to pass or whatever.  We all know that was an epic ride.  With all the other fluff on the broadcast, at least a minutes mention seems appropriate.

I am one that thinks his career stats should have been better. But you add that speed and bad things happen.  But watching what he could do on a bike was truly incredible.   Now that he is in the booth - we need more of it - he is what was needed. And to think he will even get better down the road as well. It would be great to have him be part of “all” SX races would be good too.
