Stephan Everts there in person watching them all practice. Says "I expect team U.S. to be on the podium. That's for sure". As an American, I'm encouraged that a legendary champion and sand rider would say something like that. It's impossible to know how well they are riding from edited video clips, but that says something good I believe.

I seem to remeber Alex Martin takining out a lot of riders over the past three years. What about Barcia and Webb. Maybe Cooper and the Geico boy have some past history. I don't beleive he planned to take him out, it was a split second reaction that went wrong.
