I've kind of purposely kept my Yard Lap (track) sort of basic and more of a scrambling track with natural terrain. As I'm :30 minutes from Cahuilla Creek, a fantastic MX track, I'd rather go there for serious moto and keep the yard looking sort of natural with a fun track around it anyone can ride. Though I do have a number of 'ninja lines' that take you off big rocks or features, and I think I'm going to build out a pretty solid MTB jump line... but again sort of working into the natural trees, hills, and contours. I just rebuilt my track after a year and a half of broken tractor. Sad watching it go to shit. Looking pretty good now.

Hi all, I haven't posted updates for ages, been working on this project on and off over the last year or so. Old school? That's the way I've always done it, guess I'm old school. I just pour the oil on the filter, massage it through make sure there are no dry spots, squeeze out the excess. I just thought everyone did it that way still.

I just picked up a decently clean 91 kx125 for a bike build and wanted to get thoughts on reeds. As with most older kawasakis ive found the rubber air boot coming off the reed cage has some gnarly dry rotting going on and it will defiantly need replaced. An OEM rubber air boot for the carburetor isn't available but I have found one guy on ebay selling a reproduction (part number 16065-1206 from hotfootmoto-online). If any one has experience with these feel free to share. Then there is the rad valve or v force route. Ive been told good...

10/25/2019 2:24pm I run a rad valve, 38mm PWK Air Striker and PC exhaust / Silencer with mine. It’s stock bore and stroke, with mild porting. Can’t vouch for the V Force. The rad valve has been on since I was 16, i’m 42 now 😂 Has always ran crisp and pulls well.

Yeah but do you REALLY know if you are fit? It is easy to ride a bike around and tell yourself you are in good shape. But can you really put down the power? How fast can you recover when you go deep into debt? What are you euros and north americans even crying about? This is the MX of Nations, There are other countries in the world you know??? Just for example, nobody has to travel further than the Aussies or Kiwis, but do they complain? I sure wish the US would get their shit together and go on a 9-10 year MXDN winning streak. Only then will the race be significant again in the eyes of many US fans🙄 To me it’s the biggest race of the year and it’s not based on who wins/looses. Thank god there are still some US riders who take the time/effort to participate
