I'd guess it's the bloke whose Wife (who's recently had a baby) said in the biography of him that he never asks for new things / just keeps on using them while they are still working well and in good condition. Who just doesn't expect freebies all the time, despite his fame and titles. A reflection on a bloke that grew up not being a pampered mini star / not from a monied background.....

I wouldn’t exactly call the guy overhyped. In the past 2 years, there’s only been a handful of guys who’ve won an outdoor moto/overall, and he’s one of ‘em.

Why is everybody so worked up? If he qualifies he qualifies. If he dies he dies.

I heard he will be on Monday’s show but personally, I can’t stand the guy.

JT$ had a good way of stopping (some) of Steve's bullshit that he indulges in, at times. He didn't do it in a nasty / confrontational way, just a dry, matter of fact way. Basically, JT$ was the best thing about PulpMX. They made a good team, and, as I said, JT$ was a good foil to Steve's , sometimes, lack of knowledge, and foolishness. Not, a 'yes' man. He will be missed.

As a professional accident analyst/investigator I've always found it comical seeing so many jump on the "new" 6D type helmet technology without ANY scientific evidence supporting their "improved" protection effectiveness. Some non-technical guys sit around drinking adult beverages and draw up a new helmet design on a bar napkin. They then get someone to manufacture them and charge outrageous sums for their "newfound protection" As someone who deals with this stuff for a living the unsubstantiated claims by these manufacturers is nothing short of criminal. The consumers who drank/drink their Kool Aid by buying this unproven technology are buying insurance...

I don't know but Ping does apparently. Keeps alluding to 3 or 4 brands that we'd be stunned to see results of but hardly anyone releases results it seems and if they do they're apparently invalid. Great for consumers!

Give the time of day to the customer. I can not even begin to tell you how many shops just seem to have “given up” as they feel everyone is just going to go online......if someone is in your shop, they are there for a reason. Could the be just trying stuff on? 100%, but if you take the time, it’s not that hard to offer to match, or at least come close to the price they see on line. And you can offer something the .com’s can’t, which is allow the customer to walk out right then and there...
