They both lined up to race and Eli got more points. Eli toughed it out when he got hurt and could have raced last night if needed. Hes the champ because of all 17 rounds (or in this case 16).

I like Bam Bam's aggressive style, BUT that pass was way worse than the one he pulled on Anderson. He went in to just smash him, not pass him. There's a big difference between hitting a guy while making the pass, and hitting the guy to crash him and then pass him when he's on the ground. Barcia had malicious intent on that one, it wasn't good. Could have broke Mookie's arm and leg. I hope these head-on passes get addressed for next year. Its the most dangerous pass in SX right now.

If you don't find entertainment in clean battles between the sport's best riders (Tomac v Anderson for example), then you're not a real fan of the sport. Needing dirty riding to give you enjoyment is WWE type stuff.

Qualifying times are a good look to see who’s “faster”. Malcolm qualified ahead of Barcia 17/17 times this year with numerous #1 spots. Malcolm also finished well ahead in series points. You literally have no argument.

The ultimate irony in all of this is, if Justin wouldn't have ridden like a dumbass this season (taking out various riders who all eventually got him back by putting him on the ground plus Barcia being put on probation and losing points for dirty riding while on probation), he would have easily finished 3rd in the points race, his best season ever. But Anderson taking him out, Mookie taking him out, Bogle taking him out, et al plus multiple races where he was docked position points resulted in him dropping from 3rd to 5th on the season. He's LOSING...

So the AMA should take note and fine the piss out of him then. I would extend his probation period for all of 2023 SX and if there is any other incident, it’s a black flag and a $25K fine. Sooner or later it will fucking sink in to him that not being fast enough and instead torpedoing other riders isn’t going to fly. Aggressive RACING is one thing. Flat out torpedoing another rider isn’t racing.

Anyone that thinks that the move Dumb Dumb put on Malcolm was good racing clearly has no idea what true racing is.

What irked me was when Barcia was on the podium and tried to justify what he did. Yeah, I took him out, but I do this for a living, and everyone that knows me knew I would do it. Screw all of you. Now, what are you going to do about it. He was actually pissed at the crowd.

Have you watched any replays? Barcia didn’t check up at all when Mookie passed him clean. They both held their speed and doubled out of the corner, Mookie just had more speed. When Barcia hit Mookie it was at the end of a corner where Mookie was racing forward and Barcia crossed over two ruts to hit him going backwards. Had Barcia at least been able to get sideways I’d almost agree with you, but he center punched him with his front wheel. Obviously AMA thinks you’re wrong too, hence the 10 point penalty.

You’re out of your mind. Mookie was nowhere near hitting barcia. They were side by side exiting the corner and not even close to making contact.
