Enabler Added a reply to Call it climate change....
1/21/2024 7:25pm Actually, the massive computer simulations that climate change scientist have developed are not able to accurately predict weather change. They can't even account for the changes due to cloud cover. Are you suggesting that your IQ is high enough to be able to understand climate change? I call bull*&%$.

7/31/2019 5:45pm Isn't that a 1989? The 1990 model had red forks I believe.

7/20/2019 8:36am I didn't count the actual responses but looks roughly 50 50 on attending if they switched to ebikes at Anaheim. I suspect it's lower than that. They might do OK first year due to curiosity but the races following Anaheim and the following year would be a disaster once it becomes known how awful the experience is when compared to...

7/19/2019 10:05am I think you missed the point. Sound is part of the overall experience when attending a Supercross. Remove the sound and the event turns into a much different experience. Denying that the experience is not different is to deny the obvious. The question is, is there a market for ebike Supercross/Motocross from a fans point of view? I would argue...

7/19/2019 8:29am He isn't wrong. The day that supercross goes to electric bikes will be the day the sport dies. Very few people will attend a battery powered supercross. A person only needs to compare F1 attendance to Formula E to get some perspective. 200,000 average compared to 25,000 average and that's with formula E ticket prices being cheap or free. Formula...

7/10/2019 7:52pm I had to look up the middle class in China after your post. Not sure where you got your info but it's not what is showing up. According to official data, a middle class household in China earns between RMB 25,000 (US$3,640) and RMB 250,000 (US$36,400) in a year. That's not middle class, that's living in poverty. In fact, a...

7/9/2019 5:09pm There will not be anywhere in Vegas to host the finals in 2020. UNLV has stated that the stadium will be closed once the Raiders stadium is opened for the 2020 season. It looks like it will be closing earlier than that though. I'm sure it will be demolished, it's a dump and we love to demolish property in Vegas...
Do American guys make way more money? I'm curious what the pay for the top five supercross riders is as compared to the top 5 GP riders. Anyone know approximately? Also curious, what's the average attendance at a GP event? It must be bigger than an AMA national but smaller than a supercross event?
I don't think we are more stacked than the GP's but certainly competitive. Roczen, Tomac, Osborne, Anderson, Musquin, Webb, Baggett, Ferris, Barcia, Bogle, Seely, Hill, Noren, Waters, Locurcio, Miller, LaMay. That was the finishing order at Thunder Valley. I believe it stacks up nicely.

6/1/2019 8:50am I would expect the second 450 qualifying session to be closer, hopefully. If not this is going to be an Eli Tomac beatdown.
Enabler Started a new thread Tomac at Hangtown
5/24/2019 12:11am I haven't seen much comment regarding Tomac's ride in the first moto at Hangtown. As most already know Tomac usually dominates at Hangtown, this was far from that. Not being able to run the pace of Roczen, Webb, or Anderson in the dry is surprising. Makes me believe he isn't yet comfortable with his 2019 bike in the great outdoors.It's...

5/22/2019 1:36pm Wow. I don't see anyone making excuses, I see people discussing Eli's performance. He doesn't look to be as good as others in those conditions. How can that be construed as an excuse?
Enabler Added a reply to Ken Roczen’s not up to par, WHY?
5/22/2019 1:29pm I didn't hear that. Where did you see or hear that?

5/22/2019 9:55am That was in the mud. He normally would beat those 3 guys in the dry, that's why I question what was up. This weekend will be telling.

5/22/2019 9:52am You must have missed this part of the post: "Ya I know he got second overall but to Tomac's standards at Hangtown that was actually underperforming" Tomac usually dominates at Hangtown, he didn't last weekend. It's logical to ask why.

5/22/2019 9:23am Of course it means something but pure speed is really what I was commenting on. Eli didn't have the pace to run with the 3 front runners or Osborn for that matter. It isn't the end of the world nor was I suggesting that. I believe that Eli is struggling with bike setup as he has so often in the...
