Not to get into a pissing match, but while a 4t was an advantage, a 125 wasn’t the complete mismatch in 2003 that it is now. Besides that, a last to first ride in the premier class holds a bit more weight.

Those of you talking depleted field and Jett went down and blah blah blah...get real. Can't help but think you are more recent fans or at least a newer generation. Pay attention to the guys who've been around a while, who watched Stew in 2002, or even 2014 in Toronto. Here we go with the "it wasn't straight up" arguments from back when Bubba would get beat because he crashed. Fanboys just cannot face reality. Funny how you interpret someone cheering on and supporting their nations team for disrespect and negativity towards the others. Maybe people just like their countries riders more than the others, WHILE appreciating the talent and greatness of others........or did you not know these are possible at the same time?

I haven't missed to watch a single PRACTICE from 2005 until today. Be it live, on live stream or just the live timing (practice). Maybe I'm alone but I love this event. A1 is exciting as well but nothing else comes even close.

So just to make sure i follow, you’re saying the fact the the riders aren’t fairly compensated in your mind makes the race less interesting/enjoyable to watch in your mind? If you were a rider, i could understand but as a fan? Out of curiosity, do you stop watching your favorite NFL team play and/or say the game sucks if one of the players is unhappy with his current contract? Do yourself a favor and don’t ever tune into an Olympic event or you might throw up...

I've been to 50+ Nationals and Supercross events. None of them compared to attending the MXoN. Not even close. Most important race of the year to me as a fan of the sport. It will continue to be that with or without usa participation.
