With rumors that the new kx 2 smoker will be a “race bike” somewhere from the 125 to 150 or 250 to 300 range I think this should be the time the ama finally gets with the program and allows 250 2 strokes in the 250 class. Its beyond time. For a while there hasnt been a lot of push since most manufacturers werent making 2 strokes anymore, but now that kawi has joined the fray this should be revisited. For all the bragging, fake bravado, bullying, social media speculation, industry bantering / ass kissing is it time to say Deegan has been underwhelming so far? My Gosh we had video after video, post after post telling us he is “Rivals’ with the current 450 SX champ…. Yet he isn’t even dominating his regional feeder SX series. Rarely the fastest qualifier, and in track section break downs only fastest in 1 or 2 of the typical 8-10 sections of an SX track. On pure speed alone Joe, JuJu, Smith all seem to have him covered. The moto media thinks the fans are all flat brimmed, tattooed, pot head morons. Anyone else remember when the TV package was shit and Weege would go on and on about moto fans are too dumb to understand streaming? Or the recurring moto fans are never happy with any of the broadcasters? Or that the fans are too dumb to understand why 2T are basically outlawed on the pro level narrative? It goes on and on....

Anyone else catch this on the pulp show with Keefer last night? I am 40 minutes in and he has made this statement 2 or 3 times about the "casual fan" not understanding first what a "tow" is and then not knowing what a base setting is. Does he seriously think people listening to the pulp show don't know what a tow or a base setting is? Most of us have raced most of/if not our whole lives. Kind of insulting lol like I get what he's trying to do but seriously he's acting like people listening to this are...

I am pretty sure they dropped the "KX -- F" name simply because they knew that a two stroke was coming back, but they wouldn't need to use the F on the 250 and 450 if the built a 300 and a 125/150 (which I think they will do). Also, taking into account that they patented some new two stroke FI engine a while back, I believe it will have FI, and electric start, among other things. If I have to bet, it will be a japanese version of the SX 300 (and obviously will have a X version). Heck...
