My son is a big Freddie fan. He waited for quite a while to see him yesterday, and when he came out to head into the stadium, stopped and talked with my boy for a minute. Just calling out the 33 and his mechanic for being nice guys and making a kids day.

As an Aussie at 3am who's been screaming at his TV for the last 35 minutes you have to tip your hat to team USA for that performance, after all the hoohaa about Deegan not going, Tomac maybe not going, maybe not even sending a team, those 3 guys showed up and put it together better than all the European nations on a track that the USA guys only ride once every 5 to 10 years. My first time going and won't be my last. Stayed Friday night in Syracuse. Got to the track at 0730, pulled right in across the street and was in the front row. Walked right into the track and was in awe! Dirt was like chocolate cake. We got our t-shirts and watched practice. We ended up doing a loop of the whole track. Access was great, paths and tunnels everywhere. Plenty of bathrooms, never had to wait more than a minute to use one. Race was over, we walked back over to the car and pulled right out. Only wait...

I have the privilege this Saturday of going to Washougal for the second time. I was there in 2016 and immediately said to myself that the track is twice as cool as it looks on TV. I cannot wait!
