Yeah, I'm not sure where the hate comes from. I've used FMF for 23 years now, I've had one single problem (I've had literally 50+ exhaust systems from them) that I would consider a manufacturing defect and it was replaced on the spot no questions asked by Paul in the box van. Great company, pure moto. My bikes get nothing but FMF, especially due to the unwavering support of the Kurt Caselli Foundation.

All this FMF hate had me worried. I damaged my Ti mid-pipe in a crash last week. I just got off the phone with tech support. I am not sure who you talked to but they have them in stock and are sending me out one today for $170. Will buy FMF again without consideration. Are you sure you didn't get denied warranty?

I gave ya two thumbs up because you're not wrong; however, taking someone's word for it that FMF totally blew them off is also...well...there's always two sides to every story...right? You can always afford to help an existing customer. How much do they spend in advertising to attract one product sale from a new customer? How much is it worth to retain an existing customer and project a positive brand image? FMF doesn't have to give him a free exhaust, but they could offer some assistance. In the end what does it really cost them? Even if they are in the right it makes them look unconcerned and uncompassionate to the general public.

There’s always going to be customers that you just can’t make happy. FMF has ALWAYS made a good product and if there was a problem within a reasonable amount of time, they stand behind their products. Just because you pay a good price for a quality exhaust, doesn’t mean it comes with a 2+ year warranty. There are a lot of things that can cause cracking like that. When packing gets blown out it causes heat and titanium is a brittle metal. Improper alignment or a slight bend from a crash can/will cause cracks to develop. Stop already with the...

Just out of curiosity, when’s the last time you repacked it, and with what material?

Expected life span of exhuast system without crash damage and religious repacking is 2 years. They are made super light and cant take all the heat cycles. Buy a freshy.
